Im surprised no one has did a comparison for why murder drones work while velma failed reason because both shows have a lot in common when ot comes to plotlines character writing and tone but one manged to be one of the most loved and best indie animation series on the internet while the other is everything wrong with modern Hollywood wrap into one show also murder drone just ended it first season recently and velma just had ugh a halloween special no one ask for so I'm surprised no one has did a comparison yet

@AsiaMmkayCosplay for anyone curious here my reason Both shows open with our protagonist monologuing and also setting the tone for there prospective shows both shows are horror mystery drama comedy shows both protagonist are rebellious angtey social outcast female teenagers who Both lost there mother in the past who later reavel to be still alive and both have daddy issues Both protagonist where supposed to be annoying and unlikeable on purpose but where supposed to grow and development and the series went on ( but velma didn't and only got worst ) Both shows main antagonist are women with no twist that it was all a men doing just pure evil woman villains ( this is something just a robot pointed out during his velma review ) and both show where made for the gen z tumblr audience ( how ever murder drone manged to do it in a good way while velma failed because it doesn't know what it target audience should be and failed to pander to no one ) That all the similarities I can think of there properly a lot but you get the point and people wonder why indie animation is winning in the animation industry short answer murder drone and velma being polor opposite when of enjoyment and recaption dispite having a lot of similarities (Side note how is it possible a show who whole cast are robots in the far future on a ice planet is more relatable and feel like actual human being then mindy kaling self insert and her version of what she thing how society works )

A Train made Hughie's life worse. He would have been happier with Robin and had more time with his dad. Hughie eventually would have made something of his life without the trauma he had to go through. I don't think he loves Annie like he did Robin. In fact, I think A Train made Annie's life better cause he gave her Hughie. Without Hughie, Annie could have killed herself or ended up like Maeve. Without A Train, Maeve wouldn't have had the nerve to stand up to Homelander cause Hughie inspired Annie and Annie inspired Maeve. Without Hughie losing Robin, Homelander won't have gone this rogue or out of control, cause Butcher won't have gone close to the Seven and wouldn't have recruited the boys had he not kidnapped Translucent and killed him.

Sista Sage is the shit! 1. She don't snitch on the brothers! She could have sold A-Train out. 2. She may be down with the swirl, but at least she didn't need a lobotomy to turn out BN2.0 3. My theory is, when Firecracker decided to start taking the lactating med's that Sage had recommended to Ashley, Sage was somehow able to locate and "Bill (allegedly) Cosby" them, with something that's aging Homelander faster and burning Firecracker out. Taking down a super fascist while simultaneously taking away a potential bride for Firecrackers cousin, Earl. (Poor Earl, nothings says lovin like marrying your cousin, aye) Taking the two down slowly of course, definitely after Homelander has everyone that can take him down legally bumped off. With Homelander and Daisy Duck Dynasty out of the way, BN2.0 in love with her, the Deep murdered his "007" for her. (Octopussy) And, she knows that A-Train owes her one. When the smoke clears, Sista Girl will be the one holding all the power. Especially as she builds her bond with Ryan. This is just my theory, I could be wrong, but I think it's plausible.

The biggest change for Hughie was that he became more independent and turned into a fighter. Before his involvement with The Boys, Hughie was kind of a lame uninspired guy coasting on his girlfriend and dad, no aspirations or fight in him. A-Train killing robin turned him into the warrior he is now.
