If that’s the plot, then I wish the gang from SCOOB! 2020 would just leave Shaggy and their portrayal of Scooby to stay kidnapped, so they can solve REAL mysteries and actually let The Mystery Machine be useful for once, so they don’t waste their time on a lame rescue story like we all do!

Im surprised no one has did a comparison for why murder drones work while velma failed reason because both shows have a lot in common when ot comes to plotlines character writing and tone but one manged to be one of the most loved and best indie animation series on the internet while the other is everything wrong with modern Hollywood wrap into one show also murder drone just ended it first season recently and velma just had ugh a halloween special no one ask for so I'm surprised no one has did a comparison yet

​@AsiaMmkayCosplay for anyone curious here my reason Both shows open with our protagonist monologuing and also setting the tone for there prospective shows both shows are horror mystery drama comedy shows both protagonist are rebellious angtey social outcast female teenagers who Both lost there mother in the past who later reavel to be still alive and both have daddy issues Both protagonist where supposed to be annoying and unlikeable on purpose but where supposed to grow and development and the series went on ( but velma didn't and only got worst ) Both shows main antagonist are women with no twist that it was all a men doing just pure evil woman villains ( this is something just a robot pointed out during his velma review ) and both show where made for the gen z tumblr audience ( how ever murder drone manged to do it in a good way while velma failed because it doesn't know what it target audience should be and failed to pander to no one ) That all the similarities I can think of there properly a lot but you get the point and people wonder why indie animation is winning in the animation industry short answer murder drone and velma being polor opposite when of enjoyment and recaption dispite having a lot of similarities (Side note how is it possible a show who whole cast are robots in the far future on a ice planet is more relatable and feel like actual human being then mindy kaling self insert and her version of what she thing how society works )
