Using a road is a good idea... just make sure the road is cleaned of pc`s of car or truck debris.

That's standard operational practise before/during/after operations. F-18 was much more nitpicky about any debris than FinAF previous jets MiG-21 and Draken, so there's now decades of experience of clearing the roads for modern jet ops.
