As entertaining as this video is I thought it would focus primarily on the relationship between Andy and Mr. Carlson.

IF they still had shows like this and other 1970-80's shows on the air, I would still be on DishTV. Cut the cord over 15 years ago....shows went to crap, got PC correct and went woke !
Bailey was the Mary Anne of the 70's - everyone liked her WAY more than Loni..

I thoroughly enjoy these Jan Smithers tribute videos. Without question, I have always preferred Bailey over Jennifer, putting me in agreement with everybody else here regarding this issue. However, I never found Jennifer either unattractive or unlikable. They were two women that meant a lot to me in my teen years. While understanding the comparisons, I feel the need to attack Loni Anderson in order to praise Jan Smithers, spoils these videos.

I am truly grateful the clips aren't those awful stretched-out fake HD screen ratios. I can't sit through those.

Though on a lower level than Bailey, in those days, I was also attracted Marcia "Mrs. Kot-ter" Strassman. I think I had a "type."

Leave it to Less Nessman to say something racist in such a sweet ignorant way that you just want to hug him. A fave line from the show: Jennifer's date: I believe a man's name says a lot about who he is. My name is STEEL. What did you say your name was?" Less Nessman: "Less...... Less Nessman."

funny that people love the lazy ones at work and the hard workers are hated nerds. can't understand why corporate america would portray that on tv, guess good workers with good ideas second guess the people at the top that don't really know what is going on.

YT blocks those parts and wouldn't allow this to be posted until they got the 'bad rabbit ears' effect. Maybe because of the guest actor

The back story of Mama Carlson is sad she is a shrewd business woman but the men in her life were not, I think her grandson was the same way when they rebooted the show. I hope her granddaughter was a good business woman but Mama was going to have to wait a bit to find out.

When this show first aired, the characters started as caricatures; they were played broard and silly. But then the show got smart and really added depth to the personas. By season four, it didn't make sense that the cool, first season "Venus Fly Trap" character used to be a teacher named Gordon Sims. So, this episode is unique. For a sitcom to "fix" or explain the character arc (season one to season four) was really unheard of during the 70s/80s. Show runners back then assumed audiences would just forget that Richie Cunningham had a brother (Chuck) or that Shirley Feeney used to have an accent. You have to credit this smart show to go back and account for their welcomed changes.
