I noticed in the Final Act series that Rin lately becomes mean to Jaken considering she's usually a very nice, little innocent girl who knows how to change the heart of a cold-hearted demon.

My favorite funniest part is when Jaken insults Sesshomaru in front of him to Rin with "boiling, angry seething mass of - uh oh!" and then cuts to the flower being hit by the wind of Sesshomaru thumping Jaken. XD

At series end Rin goes to live with old Kaeda for several years, and then returns to them as an adult, eventually becoming Sesshoumaru wife. This is implied in Yashahime but not fully discussed. Rumiko Takahashi stated that Jaken was Rin's 'father figure' he was the one actually playing games with her and scolding her when she misbehaved and eating meals with her and protecting her, he's supposed to be the reluctant father figure.
