It's called a door latch strike plate. When the door is closed, the door latch bolt extends into the strike plate's hole, keeping the door locked. The door lock dead bolt has its own dead bolt strike plate for extra security.

Hi all! I'd like to clear up my pronunciation of the town we stayed in while visiting the Grand Canyon. We were in a town called Tusayan, Arizona, which is 1 mile from the Grand Canyon. Not Tucson, Arizona, which is over 300 miles from the canyon. On a map, you can find it near the South Grand Canyon entrance. Thanks and happy travels 🩷

There’s a really beautiful ancient river right there at the third stop you were talking about on the north side. Well I mean, there’s beauty everywhere around there. I think Mexican Hat is probably the most beautiful place on earth.

So this may sound kind of lame , but I go in the restroom and I do me a bunch of jumping jacks. If it’s a 10 hour flight, then I will do this two or three times along with wearing high compression socks. It alleviates all bloatedness and heaviness, that I generally would feel otherwise. Kind of silly but it works well :-) happy Trav’lin

haha that's not silly at all. Getting your lymphatic system moving helps a ton with post-flight dependent edema. really, any movement you can do will help. Happy travels!

Do you have any recommendations for where to go in LV if we have only a night before heading to Arizona?
@gotravelwithstaci
@gotravelwithstaci 19 күн бұрын
I guess it depends on what your interests are. There's so much on offer so you'll have to pick just a few things to see, do, eat. If it were me, I would pick a one-night stay in a resort that tickles your fancy, one dinner (fancy or not...don't discount the casual dining option like Crack Shack and we looooove Best Friend but it is more sit-down casual), one show ("O" was so much fun), and then go to the casino to end the night or pop in a bar for cocktails. One day in Vegas can be done as long as you whittle down your itinerary.

Just got back from the Grand Canyon what you are seeing are Mule Deer bigger than Minnesota deer but the park is overload with them on the South rim most likely you will see elk and other animals on the North rim not on the South

We haven't been out to the western portion of the Grand Canyon but I know it's a destination for some who are visiting areas like Las Vegas.

Love the mob museum speak easy and 1923 Prohibition. Ghost Donkey is way too small and crowded . Going to try the ski lodge in a few weeks as well as the Vault at Bellagio 😎😎😎

100% agree Ghost Donkey is too small and overcrowded to be enjoyable. We have never gone back. Ski Lodge is great if you're an 80s baby like we are. So nostalgic and the staff were interactive and funny. We need to try the Vault next! I hope you had the best time.

Loved your video! It was very informative and helpful. Plus, you are as cute as a button! We will be there in two weeks for the first time - can't wait to see the beauty! We are seniors and so will not be hiking very much, so this was perfect! Thank you!

When we went to Jackson Square, it was closed! We later figured out it was because they were filming a promo for the new Tiana’s Bayou ride at Disney World! So, we were initially disappointed we couldn’t go inside the square but are glad we got to see behind the scenes of the promo they were filming.
