👍 To Morgan James - who has a lovely relaxing, soft voice, style of singing, and choice of songs! I’m 70ish and have been listening to her for quite a # of years now. THIS video was done 5 yrs ago (IIRC), BUT imo continues to improve as she ages and ‘matures’ - both vocally and performance wise (as I feel about her more recent live performances vs this). Although not as well known, respected, and ‘popular’ as many of today’s other current (lesser talented) ‘stars’, OR recognized for her 💕, and 🌟 quality (that she deserves), I think Morgan might prefer to remain more ‘private’ and independent. Being in the limelight, and in the hands of a management company/team, with mass publicity etc., puts MANY restrictions on artists. It prevents them from living a relatively ‘normal’, and ‘free’ lifestyle. * This is just my personal guess though as to why people aren’t as enchanted with her as I am (and I’d imagine a lot more people too).

💕 🎤 + 🎹 duet of a lovely song by Stevie Wonder (who’s original I haven’t heard)! I’m 70ish, and have been following Morgan for some time, but can tell she’s matured a lot after hearing this performance! It’s a 👍 relaxing, and ‘easy listening’ song to just chill and lay back with anytime of day/night when you’re in the mood for this music.

@@valeriewickerson-august7474 I don’t see any reason why it would, or should, make such a big difference. Some people/artists are just more comfortable to sit rather than stand when performing. It’s not a matter of ‘respect’ imho. If anything, it’s the audience that should show their respect by not speaking, yelling, taking selfie videos and blocking other’s views and enjoyment!

@elainemeyer5062 The audience and the performers' behavior are two different topics. We are talking about the performers' behavior. Sitting briefly or as part of the choreography is acceptable. But to me it's something that can be checked at this point. If she listens to other people who tell her everything that she does is okay, her artistry will go down. So it's her decision at this point. If she continues, why bother with her. The audience: why let them bring their cell phones in. Hire a stage director who nicely (at first) gives stage clues to the audience. Most will follow direction.

But let’s just politely show respect and stick with our OWN personal feelings on the subject of her ‘standing vs sitting’ while performing, as well as ur remark on the latter part of my comment about the audience behavior at live events.
