This went deep in me. Lost my wife to cancer a year ago. Spent her last week with her in a hospital room for just us two. Amazing ppl helping her. In the end she did not have strenght to speak anymore. And to be honest neither had I. So I played her favorite songs and she smiled now and then. And I played our daughters singing to her. I felt she was at peace. She did not wake up the next morning. Still miss her, allways will. To all you musicians out there hope you know how valuable music can be. Keeping that connection when there were no more words. Bringing her some joy in that situation. Thank you. Please keep singing, doing music, sharing your talents.
