My Father looked after the camellias at Exbury in the early 1960's. His name was John Murphy. He loved Exbury and spoke of it throughout his life.

I lived here as a child as my Father grew camelias in the large greenhouses. I wept buckets when we left.

Is it possible to have a mini dragon fly pond? with a large tote? I know a kiddy pool would be too shallow, but if it's the size of a small kiddy pool just deeper, could that work to attract them?

I have a camelia which has been clipped by the previous tenant into a dense, round, hedge-like ball. How can I prune it to open it out and encourage a looser, more arching habit? Visited Exbury a couple of weeks ago - what a beautiful place. The colours of the azaleas and rhododendrons were stunning.

Hi, thank you for your video. Please can you advise me on the matter or transplanting a camellia that’s is very well established (7-8ft). I want to replant it in the same tree bed but about 4 feet away. Can you advise with regards to survival and transplant shock. Much appreciated, thanks.
