The two rare plants shown in this video are Magnolia lotungensis (Eastern Joy Lotus Tree) - native to southeastern China - and Persea thunbergii - native to central and southern Japan, southern Korea, Taiwan and China.
Filmed in May 2020 during the first COVID-19 lockdown, this virtual garden tour was originally posted to Facebook during that time to enable Exbury's loyal followers to see inside the gardens when they couldn't visit in person.
