They weren't going to have Tony Atlas vs Ric Flair, NWA World Heavyweight champion in front of such a small audience. This was a tease and a build-up for a big stadium/arena type event so they could make good money off of this match-up. It's hard to understand that as a kid, but easy when you're grown up. Pro wrestling is a business. They aren't actually all hating on one another, though real-life feuds did happen, they mostly did their feuding in front of the cameras or in the ring with the cameras on the ring.

Bulldog Brower could bench press 500 lbs according to google and I don't doubt that being how huge his upper body was.

I didn’t know that Ole Anderson played golf? I never saw him on TV playing. He must have been a super athlete if he got better than Arnold Palmer in three weeks.

In the earIy 70s I saw Bob Sweetan bear hug a 55 gallon oil drum and crush it. He would hold an apple in the palm of his hand and crush it. He was a big strong man!

Outside of these few favorite of mine excerpts, one world shuttering thing I found out today: There was no one, not a single soul on the planet Earth who picked up cotton anywhere since naeteen... ehteen... twaneseven, ehteen twane-eht, naeteen... fifteseven. Poor thing just grows unattended and uncollected.
