You can tell Stone totally changed after Andrew’s death… the light and humour in his eyes died a little.

Chris was always very vocal and extremely articulate when talking about things from that time. He wasn’t pretentious and a dick who wouldn’t talk about stuff because it was beneath him and because he felt important and only wanted to talk about himself. No, he talked about everything in interviews and gave really deep insight in to any topic he was asked to comment on. His interviews are great

Cool how Kurt loved John Lennon. Lennon was the most iconic rock star of the 60's & 70's. For me it began on February 9, 1964 when I was 5 and ended on December 8, 1980 when I had just turned 22. Truly; the day the music died.

Kurt's grungy accoustic demo of And I Love Her is beautiful and heartbreaking. And two somgs that are pataphysically linked some 30 light years apart, it's Dear Prudence and All Apologies.

They're talking about Judas Priest and Lynch Mob. The line between 80's metal and 90's grunge was always very, very thin even though the media (and maybe some of the acts themselves) made it seem like a totally different universe.

10:36 this performance was not great, but there is a valid reason, and that is that Cornell taught this song the night before and his voice was already very tired (the birth ritual demands a lot)

He has been the best singer in Rock since they formed Soundgarden, most frontmen just have likeable voices but he could actually sing and you don't get that alot in rock. Chris and Freddie are definitely the best actual singers ever in Rock.
