WOW! That was a fabulous cover, Ranjit! Loved it! Not sure if you got a chance to check out my Harmonica & Keyboard cover of this song but I did with a nice karaoke track. I played the lead vocals on a chromaticarmonica and childrens' chorus part on Keyboard. You're welcome to check it out especially since you were the one who encouraged me to try doing a Pink Floyd song! This was my first one!

I've been working on learning your arrangements for DSOTM, they're really phenomenal! I've been teaching myself them, and in the process of doing so, I've transcribed several pieces into conventional music notation. I know you've said you don't use conventional sheet music for your work, but since I've got my transcriptions just laying around, would you be interested in selling or otherwise distributing them? Absolutely no charge on my end, I've already got my own worth out of my efforts - but seems a waste to not share my transcriptions!

Question! At 0:54 , what are the chords /notes you are playing with your right hand?
@RanjitSouri-PinkFloydPiano2 ай бұрын
Hello AmazinDeeds2312! I’ll cover three chords to make sure this is helpful. As you know, some of these time-stamps are hard to distinguish exactly, since many chords fall in between two time-stamps. At 0:53, I play an A major chord. LH is playing an A octave with fingers 1 and 5. RH is playing C# with finger 1, E with finger 2, and A with finger 4. At 0:55, I play an open A/C# chord. LH is playing a C# octave with fingers 1 and 5. RH is playing an E with finger 2 and a C# with finger 5. At 0:56, I play an A2/B chord. LH is playing a B octave with fingers and 5. RH is playing C# with finger 1, E with finger 2, and and B with finger 5. For this part of the song, the LH is mostly just playing octaves while the RH doubles that bass line in the high register with finger 5, while fingers 1-4 of the RH play other notes in the chords. The bass line and melody line are mostly identical to each other in this part of the song, traveling up and down the keyboard in parallel 8ths. I hope that this helps!

Do you have sheet music of yourr Pink Floyd covers available?
@RanjitSouri-PinkFloydPiano2 ай бұрын
Hello Riki! Below is some information that I post in response to inquiries about sheet music or tutorials. I do not share my sheets or do tutorials; however, there are various apps and websites that offer the service of transcribing music from KZbin videos into sheet music. I’ve never used any of them but I know they exist. You could certainly try one of them. I use an overhead camera angle to help you see what I’m playing. You can use the gear icon on KZbin to slow down the speed of the video, which will make some of the faster passages easier to follow. If you are learning to play any of these songs, feel free to comment on the appropriate video with any questions. Please include time-stamps to direct me to the exact places in the video. I will do my best to respond in a way that is useful for you. It makes me happy when somebody tells me that they are learning to play one of these arrangements. Thanks for your support!
