Ranjit Souri, you posted this over five years ago, and as such are very unlikely to see this post, but that’s ok, because I’m putting out there, that which I want to. I popped into KZbin, because I really wanted to listen to a piano cover of Floyd’s “Great Gig in The Sky” as I think ,the late and great, Rick’s opening chords on this song are just brilliant. I tried several covers of this song, but quickly moved on from each as there were not, a faithful cover. What I was looking, is exactly what you have done, which is clearly the result of quite some effort and which is also, very much appreciated. I have made this a favourite for I see myself listening to this, many times more. In my humble opinion, your faithful version of this song, really is the best version on KZbin, and I would like to think, that Rick would also agree. Thank you.

@Camron Wafer You should, just dive into it. It's not going to be much fun at first, but once you have a year or two of focused, directed practice under your belt you will find a whole world of personal fulfillment and enjoyment opening up to you. I stopped playing for a long time and it was one of the worst things I ever did, I just started again a couple of months ago and it's great. I heartily recommend you give it a shot, and don't be discouraged by slow progress or the frustration that comes with learning an instrument. Take it for what it is, a healthy challenge, and what a challenge. @Ranjit Souri This is sublime. Thank you so much for sharing this. I need to listen to this album again soon (and I do have it on vinyl), it's been a little while.

This song is the most moving of all Floyd. A true masterpiece and you nailed it! Nothing compared in 1974 and nothing has since. The way i understand it Richard wrote the song for a screen play of the Hollocoust originally. Just Amazing!
