Kraft has been thru this before when he took over as owner first year he had bledsoe 2nd year they drafted OL and 3rd year they got bledsoe his weapon terry glenn. I’m not even 1 minute in, and I agree. The record is one thing. The idea of charging top ticket prices in the league. And you’re rolling out a poorly coached, undisciplined team, have a coach who takes no ownership/accountability, can’t coach in game, make half-time adjustments, or manage a game or game clock …how do you justify it. Only thing about this that I feel good about is that one win Drake Maye so adamantly defending Mayo, makes me not feel bad for him and the precious wasted seasons of his career he will have.

Statistics is taking over and if the stats say you need to rebuild then you approach the season in a different way to preserve your team and put yourself in a good spot to build it with draft picks until you can compete for a championship because now it feels like championship or bust is the mentality - the players in these leagues are better than they have ever been and have learned skillls and schemes from past generations of players and can stay healthy for longer than ever with modern medicine and PT and training techniques

NFL ratings issue is absolutely an issue of parity. We have teams like the Bears, Jets, and Cowboys that got tons of primetime games this year and have mostly been unwatchable.

NFL is not struggling with ratings, they are setting new records and getting richer. I think the problem with NBA is the game itself, the 3pt shooting has completely changed the game itself. The soft fouls and lack of physicality also doesn’t help.

The NBA is a star-driven league. They need stars that want to dominate to create the rivalries that fuel interest. Now you have Finals MVPs doing “load management” so even when you tune in or go to the arena, you could be robbed.

there are too many threes, load management, the game isn't physical enough, everyone flops, and refs have a god complex. if i was in charge of the nba i would eliminate the corner three, its simply just bad to have guys sit in the corner and not move. Second I'd shrink the regular season, maybe to 60 games maybe even 40 spreading them out and eliminating back to backs. Less games means less total views but I think we can agree the NFL seems to be doing better than the MLB right now. The regular season is almost a joke with how any given game doesn't really matter, and credit to Jimmy Butler for realizing that and turning it on in the playoffs when it does matter. Third I'd make dunks worth 3 points, because they're simply the best part of the game offensively end of story. 4th I would enforce traveling violations again and crack down on illegal screens (draymond your days are NUMBERED), and make flopping a flagrant 1 or something you get caught for it you shouldn't be allowed to get caught twice and stay in the game (Bye bye Embiid and SGA). I think you also have to be able to criticize officials in press conferences, and this last one is just off the top of my head but maybe referees should be rotated regularly, getting promoted and demoted from the minors based on performance.
