I 100% agree. It’s the the principle of the matter. Very disrespectful of the house. They showed that they did not value her as a customer and their response to the matter was even more disrespectful. There is no courtesy or respect anymore. Businesses don’t value their customers anymore, and some will easily sell out for two seconds of publicity. JAIL!

IF an Haute Couture house offers exclusivity on a piece, that is likely communicated at the time of order. It sounds like a misunderstanding on the client’s part. Especially considering she had not fully transacted for the piece. It seems odd that a House would offer after-the-fact exclusivity with just a deposit. From my vantage point, it’s strange that the client wouldn’t just handle this privately and not put the House on blast. Haute Couture is largely invitation only and another House could view this client’s behavior as potentially problematic. The airing out of how they felt they were treated is NOT going to affect how other clients of the House view it. Even a Chinese client that’s been waiting for an opportunity to purchase from Giambatista Valli would likely be happy they could move into this former client’s spot.

I just saw Xu Kai on Fendi’s website promoting the Men’s Fendi Eyes. If I were a fan of the Fendi Eyes, I would have jumped so fast on the products. The client deserves an apology. I’m with her for not shopping with them again and insisting on an apology.

I love the stepsool. It would be perfect in a boughie closet. I use a lot of steps tools all around the house. They are for me to reach things but also for my pets to get onto the sofa or bed. I prefer them to look nice.

I think that step stool is ridiculous 😵‍💫. I would definitely stick with Fine Jewelry and Watches. Probably more watches because that was the only category that was under performing in their Q3 results. Don't know if they released Q4 yet. Bottom line. You have to spend at least 1x1. The competition is just too intense. People hoping for a unicorn story are not being realistic. Just be prepared to drop serious 💰💰💰 in the right categories and the offer should come fairly quickly.
