Sir, take measurements on tape measure from inside of steel point. That is why 2mm variations occurs.

You have to use 50 ohms termination close to scope I did many tests and if there is no 50 ohms termination then due to signal generators impedance attenuation Will be before the bandwidth and with a 50 ohms termination you usually extend it the true signals as to testing standard..try it always when you testing bandwidth and applying any signals from signal generators

I would like to ask. It seems that the oscilloscope probe included with this equipment can only be set to x1 and x10, even if I buy an x100, it cannot be configured. So, with the probes it comes with, can I measure and see the 220V mains voltage at x10? According to the manual, I believe it only supports 400V peak to peak, and I think the mains voltage could exceed that since it is 220V RMS (and in some cases it can exceed 240V). I need help with this before buying because no one says anything about this.

Do you know the thermal sensitivity of this IR camera? I have not been able to find it anywhere and it is a fairly important spec. when evaluating an IR camera. The resolution on the display seems to be 0.1C but that is not the same thing. Thermal sensitivity quantifies the minimum temperature difference an infrared camera can detect and it is usually stated in mK (milliKelvin). It is also called the Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD). A lower number means higher sensitivity.

That ground lead is still not soldered correctly (at time 18:21) , the solder blob moved when you touched with the tweezers.

There are several versions of this plate, when you order make sure to order the one with top screws buried inside the top plate. Some versions have the screws outside so you can't use the full plate. I have also bought the blue plate by Mechanic but that was not reliable and broke after a few usage.

Calibration of the high voltage probe must be done with the probe switched to X10. Zooming in on the wave form is achieved moving the top switch/wheel right and zooming out by moving the wheel switch to the left. Page 14 of the manual has a typo in Product Information which refers to it as DSO-153 even though the manual is for DSO-510. Setting the parameters in the menu is a bit difficult at first. The device feels like it needs an "OK" button. No new firmware have been issued as of November 2024. A great little oscilloscope. Well done FNIRSI.

Thanks for the nice video. I received my DSO-510 about 2 weeks ago and the image saving does not seem to work. When I press and hold the RUN button the popup shows saving "1.bmp" but is quickly replaced by another popup that says "save failed". Maybe there is a firmware difference? Can you let us know what firmware version your has? Mine is v1.0.1. Thanks.

Software seems to overshoot and then undershoot. Power full power to long and overshoot again and on repeat.

You need to ground the oscilloscoop to get rid of interference influence. The buttons on the right side mode, edge, CHX and 50% only works when you press mode till you see on T the word Normal. Only in the normal mode you can use these keys. Any oscilloscoop must be grounded.

Hi ! I have DSO2C10 hacked to DSO2D15 - no freezing issues - but the low frequencies are really unusable :/ update time of display is useless if set to milisecond range :/ Othervise its really good for that price !

The thing with owon is it makes your local supermarket brands as well as it's own, in my country we dont have cdek, we have voltcraft, and currentlt the cheapest oscilloscope on the local market, (not shipped from china directly but already full paid import and taxes and shiped from local wearhouse ) is the 4 channel 150mhz version of that looks exactly like your white owon expect it is also black like cdek and i am tempted to buy it for that 260 euro because 2 channel owon, hantek and sigilent are all 300 now fro local distribution and only fnirsi or peaktech can be found for less (175 and up still 2 channels only) while geniuine owon sells from 280 euro directly from theyre website, so it seems to be a simple rebrand, the price isn't that suspicious either

Hello, mate! I don't know if you've continued testing the oscilloscope. I've bought one myself, and I'm having an issue with the screen refresh when using the single trigger. Does something similar happen with yours?

I have one of these and two DSO-152's. The DSO-153 screen refresh rate is terrible. I can literally watch a line move down the screen as it refreshes. When the signal changes it takes roughly 1/2second to show it on the screen. Anyone else have a bad refresh rate on theirs? Did I get a bad one? My DSO-152s are great.

For those who don't like the rolling temp number animation on the HS-02 if you update the firmware to 1.7 you can disable it. Look for "Rolling" in the system section. By default it is ON, just set it to OFF.

The bandwidth is quite acceptable, but reading over the real voltage is not and might indicate that they are over-reporting or amplifying the signal to raise the apparent -3dB point. We'd rather have accuracy throughout most of the range than to have a good -3dB result at the extreme end of the range.
