when I select a note with the mouse and put it on the staff I cannot get the notes off the mouse when I move it around. how can I get a neutral cursor back? well this is an old post maybe someone will save me lol

How to play with 2 different midis at the same time? Example: electric drum and keyboards. Both midi. When I play the keys, the drums sounds aswell

This causes some crazy latency for me, what might be the cause of this? Adjusting the latency level doesn't really do anything.

Excellent information. I am using Studio One and currently have the Presonus 32S StudioLive mixer as my interface and it also acts as a DAW Control Surface for Studio One. I am trying to figure out if I were to buy a Antelope Orion (with 32 ins and 32 outs via D-Sub connectors...or something similar) would I still be able to use the StudioLive mixer as a Control Surface for Studio One. The reason I want to do this as I prefer to use my analog console (with my vintage rack gear) for mixdowns and the problem is the StudioLive 32S model mixer only has 16 outputs so I am short on outputs if I were to need 24 or 32 outputs to keep all audio tracks isolated on separate tracks for mixdown. If it cannot be done my only apparent option is to sell my Presonus digital mixer and get a dedicated control surface with 24 or 32 moving faders. (Which will be somewhat expensive buying a new interface and buying the controller all at the same time). Thanks in advance if you have any ideas I would deeply appreciate it. All the best. Phil

Settings > Privacy > Microphone .......... For any1 having this issue in 2023, "Allow access to the microphone" is a On/Off option, as dumb as it sounds it actually is

So here is a deeper question...I don't think it can be done. When you have the two instruments combined in one track....and you are able to slide the sliders on the bottom around that dictate your range.....is there a way to create multiple sections on each instrument thus utilizing various keys on the keyboard? In other words...(for example 2:33) can I make the grand piano have two sweeps (from C1-C2 & C4-C5) for example? I'm using Toontracks...don't like the snare in their kits...found a snare that works well in a Kontakt instrument....and only want one live key in Kontakt (the snare hit) and disable that one key on the Toontracks. I have a Mackie BigKnob Studio+ and a PS Studio1824c. I can't ever seem to get ASIO4ALL to use 48 sample rate. It always stays stuck on 44.1. This would be a wonderful solution for me but can't ever get it to work sadly. 🙄

Why wouldn't you audition the piece? You seem to think the color coding is important, but not the sound? Weird. Just hearing you talk isn't kind of boring, and doesn't demonstrate how faithfully the software translates the sheet music into midi.

Not helpful. You didn't show how to load a mp3 file into Audacity, the files you loaded were already converted to Wav. format(a sound file it already supports)
