@ in the Rush series he is. But every other game he appears in, he’s Eggman’s descendant. Rivals duology and the Olympic games refer to him as such.

I think you guys are missing the point. The reason they didn't give Eggman everything is because, as they say, it ends up either being a tie where neither side could win with their best equipment, or Eggman loses. Like, the Phantom Ruby manipulates perception on a planetary scale at maximum after a few weeks to gather energy for Light Man form. But the Wonder Flower has a much shorter charge time and would give Bowser a universal reality warping power. That's clearly a Bowser win, reality warping trumps controlling perception. If Eggman gets the Time Eater or Paradox Prism, the Pure Hearts have demonstrated they can fix multiple broken dimensions. That sounds like a tie. Giving either side any or all of their other endgame macguffins would just be a tie at best (e.g. cosmic powers or reality warping), which defeats the point of having them fight at all. So it made more sense to give them their best equipment short of total reality warping since it wouldn't result in a tie. And Bowser just wins in that case, given a single Grand Star gave Bowser a comparable power scale to the 7 Chaos Emeralds.

@@Kaden-f2p i read it while editing. I still don’t agree with using paper mario since creators of properties can change their mind on a whim. Paper Jam’s existence directly contradicts Miyamoto’s words and I personally hold actual games in higher continuity than the creators inconsistent words.

Fair enough, I guess, I just believe that if the creators/owners of a franchise want to chang what is cannon and when its cannon they should be allowed to do so. Don't misunderstand me if I were to ever make any kind fictional world I wouldn't go around changing lore after I had made its status in that world clear. At the end of the day it doesn't matter how you or I would do it because its not our franchise.

@@dragonthunderx3250 I mean, even the games can contradict. In Superstar Saga, there's a room that in-game is stated to have the blocks from Mario's previous adventures, the Mario in Saga. The Paper Mario question mark block is in there. The separation of those games exists only in Paper Jam.

A single moment in a previous rpg that's a neat reference shouldn't be grounds to say "nah this entire game with an explanation is not counted" in my opinion.

Maruki’s persona is literally a better version of GER because he can on top of denying reality also manipulate reality to his will and joker still beat him and- Maruki even admits if he tried to redo the fight over again he would still lose everytime also denying reality is still a form of reality manipulation which Joker negates out right. Unshaken Will automatically prevents the user from being inflicted with any mental-type effect, He is also straight up uneffected by Fate as he has broken Fate before that is the power of the wildcard + Rebellious Will makes him immune to reality warping he can basically say "no" and he is free from it, Enduring Soul heals him to full at the moment of death. He is above causality, RTZ is causality manip therefore wouldn’t work. can’t use deathloop either as joker has both reflect physical and null physical.

so some arguments GER can at most affect the universe from the current feats we've seen. Scaling it higher because we haven't seen its limits makes no sense. GER should work on reality manipulation and foes joker has faced have showed higher feats of reality manipulation than that- and yet they failed to suppress jokers will and were not able to counter joker's sinful shell. GER should not be able to stop joker's trump cards unless you for some reason buy no limits fallacies

@@dragonthunderx3250 I've yet to beat tactica but I've been told joker's will directly resisting any tampering comes from there, but I can say the end boss of p5 merging reality and the metaverse is a way more impressive feat of reality manipulation than DB gives it credit for. The metaverse to put it simply is at LEAST bigger than the universe feat GER has shown. I'm not the MOST knowledgable, I'd recommend the G1 blog for more examples- even if I don't agree with all their scaling (namely SMT scaling)
