Reaction to Death Battle's Bowser vs Eggman w/ Some Homies

I think you guys are missing the point. The reason they didn't give Eggman everything is because, as they say, it ends up either being a tie where neither side could win with their best equipment, or Eggman loses. Like, the Phantom Ruby manipulates perception on a planetary scale at maximum after a few weeks to gather energy for Light Man form. But the Wonder Flower has a much shorter charge time and would give Bowser a universal reality warping power. That's clearly a Bowser win, reality warping trumps controlling perception. If Eggman gets the Time Eater or Paradox Prism, the Pure Hearts have demonstrated they can fix multiple broken dimensions. That sounds like a tie. Giving either side any or all of their other endgame macguffins would just be a tie at best (e.g. cosmic powers or reality warping), which defeats the point of having them fight at all. So it made more sense to give them their best equipment short of total reality warping since it wouldn't result in a tie. And Bowser just wins in that case, given a single Grand Star gave Bowser a comparable power scale to the 7 Chaos Emeralds.

Yeah, it wasn’t a legitimate complaint, we just wanted more. XD at the end of the day the episode was amazing, and we all loved it.

@@Kaden-f2p i read it while editing. I still don’t agree with using paper mario since creators of properties can change their mind on a whim. Paper Jam’s existence directly contradicts Miyamoto’s words and I personally hold actual games in higher continuity than the creators inconsistent words.

Fair enough, I guess, I just believe that if the creators/owners of a franchise want to chang what is cannon and when its cannon they should be allowed to do so. Don't misunderstand me if I were to ever make any kind fictional world I wouldn't go around changing lore after I had made its status in that world clear. At the end of the day it doesn't matter how you or I would do it because its not our franchise.

@@dragonthunderx3250 I mean, even the games can contradict. In Superstar Saga, there's a room that in-game is stated to have the blocks from Mario's previous adventures, the Mario in Saga. The Paper Mario question mark block is in there. The separation of those games exists only in Paper Jam.

@@dragonthunderx3250 it's pretty explicitly canon in paper jam tho lmao, the entirety of the paper mario series is contained in a single book in the main verse. A single moment in a previous rpg that's a neat reference shouldn't be grounds to say "nah this entire game with an explanation is not counted" in my opinion.

@ in the Rush series he is. But every other game he appears in, he’s Eggman’s descendant. Rivals duology and the Olympic games refer to him as such.

@ Because there is nothing to argue about. Gerald created Shadow and even refers to him as his son. So logically that does put the ultimate life form as part of Eggman’s family.

The last 2 sonic characters won if I remember correctly. Shadow and Silver. Tales beat Luigi and I think Eggman beat Whiley. Amy beat Romona Flowers.
