The song choices were atrocious, they did EVERYONE so dirty. I also hate how they dressed the girls this season, it felt tacky and cheap. Season 2 with Girlicious the production definitely felt much better. The weekly performances were so cute with all the decor and outfits.

I still can’t believe Asia was so cocky and self absorbed after winning the show that she didn’t even make it to the group because she thought she’d go further as a soloist 🤣🤣

I never understood why Charlye was so combative with the rest of the girls especially so close to the end of the competition. How are you going to melt into a group setting when you beefin with everyone lol

Comparing this to Making the Band III, Diddy, for how awful he is, really did a good job of amassing talent because as a whole the girls on Making the Band III were better singers and dancers than the crop on this show. Like none of the girls in the Baby Hit Me One More Time group would have been in the house for Making the Band III lol

i re-watch the entire show a couple of times throughout the year and i cackle every time at the fact that Nicole wasn't in the same room as Melody, Kimberly, Jessica and Ashley in those "guidance" messages like in the first season...I feel like Robin felt the end of PCD was near so that's why they changed the concept of the show from finding a new PCD member to starting a whole new group...too bad they didn't keep supporting them after the first album

Looking back now, they definitely put the worst girls (or girls who had the biggest overall struggle) together. Cassandra and Jaime always ended up in the same group somehow. I know they picked teams in ep 3, but it still was the same. That bottom group did well, so they had to find a way to still eliminate one of those girls, so she said all groups were even and went off individuality

They should have looked at their behaviour too. Jenna wanted to leave--let her leave. Natalie was disrespectful to Ken--that was the tip of the iceberg of her behavioural issues. In Scream Queens they did eliminate Lina because of a behavioural issue that made them lose trust in her. Here they should have eliminated Natalie for that reason too.

In a group of 3 girls, 1 blonde, 1 black or mixed, and 1 Ilisa, Ilisa wouldn't have "stood out like a sore thumb", because all three of them would have been very different and very noticeable. Nichole, Tiffanie, and Ilisa would have been a great group of three equidistant poles--Nichole the soft spoken blonde, Tiffanie the over-the-top black star, Ilisa the solid tomboy tall redhead. When Nichole was in a group with Tiffanie and Charlye, no one said that she stood out because she was the only blonde. But when Ilisa is in a group, everyone's like "OMG she's different".

Mariela was the best fit for this group. PCD wanted back up dancers for Nicole. I think Robin kept Chelsea because she could sing well and just wanted to keep her long enough to mold her in Paradiso Girls.
