Hey mr.enzo, Im a chopper and im using nexus el pro 53, codexx 53 And 55super select. I've tried other brands but this is my favorites they are easy to control but also fast if you need to. The counter topspin is one of the advantages of this rubber it is powerful specially on mid distance. The chop is deceiving, you can chop with different "heaviness" of backspin like super backspin or even no spin with the same sound impact, its weird.

The focus on an outward projection of a confident image is interesting. I also internally say things to myself between points to stay positive and remind myelf of things like “no free points for the opponent!” or encourage myself (even if I lose the point) “that setup was good! They cant handle my serve. Keep going!”

Are you left handed. I want to play this more casual style too but I always struggle on defense/ lobbing. Any tips? I think the first defensive shot is the most difficult. What is a good position to take this one and do you need to keep the spin on all the time?

Ye idd really nice right out of the bounce technic from Marcos which was affecting eventually your placement. From the few things I saw, which strikes me, is it s ability as I said right out of the bounce but also not giving a real hint on its placement. That s why you did hit the edges more than usual imo. Monteiro seems to have a really powerful and or spinny forehand topspin as you really seem beeing of the verge while blocking. (could be also material related). Ps: Sympa tes vidéos et j ai vu que tu as joué à la 4s à l époque !

one thing i noticed especially around 11:10 is that whilst playing forehands your index finger raises up significantly on ur racket, is this intentional or just a habit picked up over time?

Hey, I'm following your progress for a while and from my perspective it's quite impressive how you improved. Years ago as far as I know you played Gewo Nexxus - Rubbers, as I do too, and it was motivating to see what's possible with this equipment. Because I don't speak French I appreciate your idea of an English channel! But question to your video: are you still playing with Gewo - Equipment or was it just an old T-Shirt? And: will you stay in the US or come back to Europe, maybe in the German league? Anyway, all the best!
