The water droplets changing the screen around happens on my 22 also. The screens are sensitive which more often than not is a good thing. Great vid!

This is why I love my Road King. No high tech BS. Everything is in my phone and my music is in my helmet. All that tech gets old quicker than the bike and then the bike feels dated sooner.

@2147Crew I purchased a 2024 CVO Road Glide 3-Weeks ago and I’m having issues with Apple Car Play disconnecting for no reason. I have to unplug my phone and reconnect it to her Car Play back working. Then in a few minutes it happens again.

I bought my 24 this year and put 14.000 miles on it. They had to replace my infotainment screen. Quit completely wouldn't start up anymore. It actually quit after 4 days of rain on it. So for 5 weeks I ran the bike old school with no info whatsoever lol. But this new one acts up lots too. It's under under engineerd and we the customer are Harleys test muels. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

Those are tough issues. Mine has been pretty trouble free. Only thing I’ve experienced is my CarPlay cuts out sometimes

I don't think you can say an engine is mechanically sound in 12K miles. Our club has had two 2017 engines replaced in the last year. One with 35K, one with 60K. Both bikes were well maintained.

What exhaust system is that and have you coated it? Looks awesome!

same complainces here, Street Glide CVO 2024. But the bike is fantastic, great engine, good breakes and now we have a good suspension ! But indeed, the infotainmentsystem sucks...

I bought my first new Harley since 2005, 2024 road glide. I rode it home put 33 miles on it and it never started again. They had to replace the fuel pump. I’m hoping once I get my bike back from the shop it will be a little more reliable than it is right now.

Hey brother, so happy you got to enjoy that trip with Adam. Great review on the Motorcycle. Sad to say my CVO ST has been in the shop for two months.. with the same issue where the screen goes dark and I cannot get it to come back up. I have to stop the bike wait a while and then it’ll turn on and for no reason it’ll turn off again. I did experience with what you said with the rain when I left Houston that day was all over the place. I have been battling Harley. They feel that I should pay for all the repairs even though it only has 2000 miles. Finally, just picked it up so a lot of KZbin videos. Reset the system. It seems to be staying on, but it’s always in the back of my head that the darn things gonna turn off. It’s sad because we buy these expensive bikes. I cannot use navigation or listen to the radio.. other than that, I love the way the bike handles and I agree they are very nimble lots of power and handling on the road.

Another very informative video. Your not the only one experiencing electrical glitches with the new 2024 models. I know of four other owners experiencing minor issues. The issues don't seem to be frequent. Annoying none the less. When you have to pull the main fuse there is a problem. I hope HD fixes these in 2025 before they go woke. Otherwise they will never get fixed. 😜 HD, perhaps when the bike is in rain mode the screen sensitivity could be reduced. The bike looks great and the performance seems to be rock solid.

Thanks for the review. Maybe they’ll come up with screen covers to shield from the rain in those situations. I haven’t ridden mine in the rain but I’ll keep an eye out for that whenever I get caught in the rain.

That is what I thought is the vent letting the water come in and drip on the screen when riding in the rain storm when I first saw them.

My 2016 Road Glide liquid cooled Ultra runs 260F (oil temp gauge) in 90 degree weather with 60-70% humidity not in stop and go traffic.
