Africans we think this was the day Nigeria got a revenge for 2000 final match robbery. In reality, this was actually the day our senior players deliberately wanted and did end the purported football rivalry between Nigeria and Cameroon. Like "guys, let us stop playing and let this Cameroon people know that we have never been their mate, na serious we no serious". That was the message. In reality, if you look at Nigeria football, our tactics, our achievements, our products in world football, you we clearly see that Ghana and Cameroon are not actually close to being our rivals, if our boys decide to play a serious match.

Then I was in kogi state as a little boy...the street of kogi that day was something else...the joy of Jay Jay free kick was as amazing...up Jay Jay...in all am entitled to my opinion....Jay Jay is the best footballer I have ever seen but the only mistake is that he missed road,.. coming from Nigeria wasn't the best choice..he would have ask God to send him to Brazil cuz Nigeria is not a country

I am Moroccan, in 2000 the African cup in Nigeria/Ghana was my first CAN and at that time I began to love Nigerian supporters songs They are the best so I used to wait every African cup to hear those songs from the Nigerian public. 2002 in Mali, 2004 in Tunisia, 2006 in Egypt Nigerian team was not good it was the beginning of Nigerian decreasing of level as a team
