Do you ever struggle with the body aches, stiffness, and soreness of chronic illness and if so how do you stay active or moving? I am trying to get back into life after 5 years being bed bound and simple movement like walking leaves me stiff and sore to the degree of whiplash. My doctors can’t really give me advice besides trying again.

I finally got a chance to watch King Richard! Really shines a light on the added pressure/weight you were under as a young talented tennis player, not because of the rigors of sport but because of who you are and the goals you set for yourself while being a protective big sis! Off topic but that is a really cool plant behind you. Very zen and style

That was really good. I wish the background music wasn't so foreground. It's a bit exhausting by the end.

I have C.R.E.S.T. Disease, Sjogrens, and Lupus; you are absolutely right that diet is key to helping with flair ups. And its true, people don't understand when you aren't feeling well when you don't look sick.

I started tennis 5 months ago I am 15 and I think I am improving fast. What are the chances I will become a junior pro and later on a pro-player (or at least a national team player)? I am thinking on training at least 5 days a week at least 2 hours starting next month. I am a bit overweight but I know I will lose it eventually and I am quite flexible I can do splits and stuff like that ( I have never been to a gymnastics course or something like that). I used to swim and play volleyball professionally. Will it happen with hard work? Or is it almost impossible and takes talent to achieve? Lots of love from Turkiye🤍🤍🎾

I started watching tennis seriously since I was 15 and started playing it then too. I first watched the Williams sisters back in 2009 playing doubles on the TV. Regret not getting into tennis earlier.

Hey Vennis I'm a fan of you as a person(online) like the elegance you display and represent your family I tried sending Instagram but I couldn't. Love the energy your putting out

Appreciate the wealth of knowledge you're lending out. I've noticed over the years in junior tennis, Game is sold and not told.😊 It's rather costly but it is well worth it in the end. Committed tennis kids and families win at life after tennis. That work ethic definitely sticks, my daughter played USTA till she was 18, and all of the tourney experiences , life lessons and mentorships helped her get into University of Chicago with an academic scholarship. Thank you and Serena for being "Beacons of Light" for future aspiring athletes.

Thanks Venus for this is incredible advice. I need to practice more days out of the week, but my partner is not always available ugh but LOL what about those days you didn’t go to practice because you were too good and didn’t need to be 😂😂😂 BUT wow especially the reframing of the mind (rewire the mind) yes yes yes! @venuswilliams

1/build great foundation that is the basic form and technique. Build in that 2/positive attitude player coaches and parents 3/4-5 hours 5 days week ! Put in the time 4/train brain equally with body. Journal. Reevaluate. Positive affirmations. Visualization. 5/set goals on paper and try to meet them one step at a time. 6/find mentors in sport that have been there and learn from their experience! People love to help! 7/master your game and the process think about this and results will come
@FMD0235 күн бұрын
I do agree with Venus on the technique but she makes tennis seems like it’s a pain to play. It’s a very hard sport but if you have passion for it, it will show early. My mom would drop me off at the club n I never mind staying on the court all day until she picks me up around 7ish. Your parents will know very quick if tennis is for u or not.
