Nice! But combining the laminates into 1 longer motor and rewinding them as one would make a more efficient motor. Is it possible to do that? What about 3D printing more efficient blades? Fiber reinforced filament?? Research: Whale Tubercles aerofoil Less angle of attack dependant means more power and spin-up at lower wind speeds.

Did you weld the two rotor hubs together? I didn't see that part in you video. Also an FYI. I have seen the three three-phase windings broken out and wired together in series. This vastly increases the voltage output and would give you better low wind speed performance. Great job!

what's the specific advantage of joining the two motors together as one? If I have two such motors, won't I catch more wind energy having each motor attached to its own set of blades?

If i am not wrong the generation of on coil might affect the other by giving it power to spin and so there might be no energy If i ma wrong please correct me😅

You know you can include more information about this step that you take the material you used. Did you have to add electronic components for spectators as self or not? Educated in electronic components and engineering

Hello, I am doing a final project for my class on wind turbines, I know this is an old video but if still active could you give me some help/ tips on how to construct something similar? I understand basic electronics needed such as rectifiers and how motors work (Stator permanent magnets etc.) Any help is appreciated. I have access to advanced tools including CNC.

@@j_s_projects1426 The wing mounting should be in the middle or on the leading edge. The trailing edge of the wing is the slightly cut off one and is at the back of the windmill. This windmill is simply designed as a windmill to make wind, not as a windmill to receive wind energy.

No, you need Two 3f Rectifier and than Connect outputs in series or paralel

This if on boat can keep providing electricity from boat, no oil needed then. Because when move, boat moves anyway, then if horizontal type, definitely feels safer(because moving boat).
