Fortunately shooting 5.56 is very easy and manageable compared to other standard issued calibers like 7.62. Before my line platoon got issued M4's to replace our M16a4's, we were doing CQBs w/ 20 in barrels by resting the buttstocks of our rifles on our shoulders while in low ready and simply raising the muzzle on target. Now adjustable buttstocks is readily available which makes it super easy. It's funny how the USMC is moving from 14.5 in M4's to 16.5 in M27's and with suppressors puts them back beyond 20 inches, in the end it's all about practice and spending quality time with your firearm.

It’s a safari land, looks like one of the level 2 or 3 retention. The QLS system is what you want for detaching and attaching it to your belt

I personally went with the trex arms Ragnorok you can pick all the pieces you want like leg strap drop plate ect and it’ll come assembled and all you gotta do is put it on the belt

You have the capacity to go faster, rifle up rounds out instantly and you can get a great HF if it’s uspsa targets and scoring. Great job keep training.

I spent 32 years in the Infantry. I was in my 40s in Iraq and Afghanistan and still saw young soldiers crying about how hard it was. I took point and trained the young guys how to do the job right and to show them I was just like them. I would go into a room first and share the risks. I think my soldiers knew I would sacrifice for them, but they also knew I expected them to do their best and give everything for their brothers. Things not tolerated, lost equipment and blatant laziness or stupidity. longest time with no shower 64 days.

@@darrellbenedict3397 obviously you cannot read or have a comprehension issue I was not in my 50s in combat, I was in my 40s. And that smell will stop if you stop putting your face in peoples backsides, not my business why your tossing salad its ok but I don't swing that way. so I'm not interested thanks anyway
