This barbarism have to STOP...this is not sustainable, better the Hobbyist should collect money for the restoration of coral reefs, to repopulate them and then trained people to collect fry to be exported, this if they cannot mate in an aquarium... but if they can breed in an aquarium then the export these fish should be banned....If everything is done professionally and if we take care that healthy adults have a healthy aquatic environment to be able to reproduce, then yes it is possible to collect fry for Hobby...but not like that...this is joke...We pay hundreds of Euros or Dollars for a fish that is collected unsustainably....WE should stop buying fish collected from the wild...

This is my big question there are many fishes introduced into aquariums from sea to oceans to tanks at home. But why the aquariums industry are not making beautiful sea shells and its different varieties into aquariums. Yes there are but only a few which are used only for cleaning crew. Yes, but there are beautiful sea shells of different colours and shapes and sizes and various designs which we put into homes as souveniers but imagine putting these creatures or introducing them into aquariums would be very good business. Because these shells are so nice. I always look for these shells if they are available in aquariums but no, only a selected fews are available. This is so sad. Why are these not introduced???? Is my question.
