Hi @@npkvpty Well, I have not tried voice register dn yet, but it is designed for non-Cisco devices, such as SIP phones, in a CME environment. While ephone-dn is Cisco proprietary and specifically intended for Cisco IP phones to set up a Cisco CallManager.

I appreciated your demonstration on this voice course so I'd like to get it why do you use auto-assign in giving it a number between 1 to 10 at this level in while knowing we've got 2 ip phones in that topology in which you worked.

Hi @@jordanmalanda7499 I set it up from 1 to 10, which will cover 10 IP phones, even though we only have only 2. You may try to practice and observe it in Packet Tracer. Try to make it 1 to 2, it’s fun to solve problems. Thanks for bringing up the question, appreciated!

Thats great tutorial.. Let me know because I m new to Cisco. is there necessity to place router? ... can we establish the real voice communication without router ? using for with in the office only not like intercom Please clarify?

Well, if it's within the office, there’s no need for a router. You can use analog phones or PBX systems. However, if you use VoIP, you will need a router to manage the traffic to the internet. I haven't tried analog phones or PBX in Packet Tracer yet. Hope this helps!

hello there @@bulcub I've never tried other brands like Netgear and D-Link, but based on my research, you can use other brands to control access points. Please be aware that each brand has its own management configuration compared to Cisco devices, which may result in slight differences in setup.

Network 4 - you only have 61 hosts from 192.168.1.130 to 192.168.1.190. Therefore, you have not fulfilled the brief !!

You still have to assign interfaces to a vlan for every switch manually. When you do that, the vlan will be automatically be created for you. You never have to create vlans in the first place, rendering this VTP server-client feature useless.

My opinion, it’s better to focus on CCNA Security Fundamentals, Access Control, and Network Security Protocols, which can be found in CCNA 2 to 4. CCNA 1 is just an introduction if you are new to networking and is easy to understand.

Good thought! That would be point-to-point. /31 will be used then on a network. Two available IPs will be used, and there is no broadcast address.

I tried it in Cisco 2911. It never worked instead in router 2811 it works perfectly
