The absolute worst road at night heading west in the two lane section. I recommend taking Amtrak. So many trucks with headlights blinding you. I feel lucky to be alive today. I saw one serious wreck. Horrible!

this is interesting to see. I'm not from CA and have only been along the coast, but it's interesting to see "flat" california because the coasts are so mountainous/hilly but most the flat land is inland....usually it's the opposite

California is one of the only states where you can experience several different landscapes like the coastal beaches, Central Valley, Sierra Mts, and even the hottest desert on Earth, all within a couple of hours of driving. Interstate 505 is indeed one of the least scenic rural freeways in California, but nonetheless, it serves as an important connection to Northern California when coming from the Bay Area. Definitely have to stand with that. The Southbound drive on US-101 after exiting the Robin Williams Tunnel gives drivers some of the best views of both the GGB and downtown SF! Sim, toda a Floresta Nacional de Lassen foi infelizmente sujeita aos devastadores incêndios Dixie de 2021, que destruíram grande parte da paisagem nesta área, com todo o incêndio queimando quase um milhão de acres de terra. Até impactou várias atrações dentro do Parque Nacional Lassen por um longo período de tempo. I have lived in the vicinity of Lassen Park for 38 years now. It is very sad to see how much forest has been lost to fires, whether by lightening or a campfire gone ary, not to speak of the lost of habitat for many species of flora and fauna. Yet, I do appreciate you sharing this important heritage that belongs to all of us. Hope this educates those who plan on visiting of responsible stewardship.

Me N Her like fairs and festivals. Lots of little towns throw festivals celebrating whatever it is that makes their town great. Santa Cruz has a seafood fest. Watsonville has a strawberry fest. Oakdale has a chocolate fest. Years ago, Los Banos used to hold a barbed wire fest with a displkay showing 287 different types of barbed wire. Well, Ok, I guess thats right. You have to admit those Los Banos folks sure do know how to AG. !

Thanks for the suggestions. I unfortunately don't have a video going all the way to the Point Reyes Lighthouse from Olema at the moment. Love your choice of background music. Prior to 1984, the freeway ENDED at Cochrane Road and traffic was diverted to Monterey Road, all the way to Leavesley Road. This was absolute hell for people connecting with Hwy 152, and when this stretch opened as a continuous freeway you could hear sighs of relief throughout the state.

Do you love chevys fresh mex because I live in San Jose and we were born with chevys fresh mex also for some reason my hometown chevys in Mountain View didn’t join other chevys on having the senors and senoritas signs on the bathrooms for no reason
