Absolutely amazing! It really worked! I set my hair dryer inside the oven for about 15 minutes, on high, aimed at the probe hole and about 1" away, while I went to take a shower. As soon as my shower was finished, so was the problem! Have gone from being a skeptic to a believer! Now I can cancel the appliance service call scheduled for tomorrow and save myself $155. Yay!!

Used a leaf blower instead of a hair dryer. Worked much faster. I don’t think you actually need the air to be hot.

Thanks for this! Right after I cleaned my oven with oven cleaner, the probe message came up… I put a thin wad of tissue into the probe hole to dry it up, then turned the oven on for five minutes… It must have cleaned itself and evaporated any false message moisture in the probe plug… Thank you for your help!

YES! After 4 x 5 min blow drying on hot, unscrewing the hex nut and loosening the probe, then scraping out the inside of the probe, it worked! THANK YOU!
