A few years ago I sent the city of Richmond a video predicting a large mud slide on Castro Ranch Road preventing 600 families from getting home safely, instead of looking into the problem the city of Richmond placed Flooded signs. Couple of weeks my prediction came true and the mud slide Closed Castro Ranch, KRON4 Interviewed me. This year we had plenty of rain and cracks in the video gotten bigger and bigger, I live up and I drive down this hill every day so I do see the cracks getting bigger and when you go over them you feel your car or SUV leaning to the right. It is no longer a straight road - as I said I an not an Engineer but I do sense when something is going to go wrong. a couple of years ago we had healthy rainy season that washed a large portion of Alhambra Valley Road near Castro Ranch enconveniencing many residents for a couple of years and preventing Diablo Valley College students from attending their classes on time.
City of Richmond council members, Mayor Tom Butt, Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia - you need to address this matter as soon as possible before any one in our community get Hurt.
