I’m struggling with getting started in Christ through all of Scripture. I really want to do this but am having trouble getting started. Any suggestions? Or tips?

The Bible is a Catholic book ❤ I got a large print Ignatius rsv2ce and some paperback single Rheims that are 18 point, and a new Douay Rheims large print from TAN books too.

I have visual issues and reading is VERY difficult. I use a 16 point super giant print. What version? Don’t care, I’m able to read it!

I found your channel and this 52 week study at about the same time. This has already been such an incredible blessing for me. I, too, hold the KJV closest to my heart. It was my first Bible ever-purchased in 1993. I would be completely onboard with walking through the Bible in a year with you and this thirsty community. We will leave the “when” up to God.

My husband gave me the Hosanna KJV for our anniversary in December.

The cover artist is a Joshua Noom. Usually credits for covers are right inside the very first page along with the copyright info etc. I try to not buy something I won’t use, and this Bible is just so beautiful I know would never write in it, and I have yet to read the Bible - even just for reading and not studying - where I didn’t highlight or underline. So I will admire them when others share them.

I bought this as well to use with Christ in all Scripture. Enjoying it immensely!

I’ve had my eye on the Jesus Bible for a while but haven’t had the opportunity to get it yet. All the symbols on the cover are so interesting. I know the 4 angels with the different heads represent the 4 gospels. We got a bunch of snow on Sunday and it’s been really cold since then. I’m the sort of gal who wants a white Christmas and then it can just go ahead and be spring!

You said something that I feel needs clarification. You said when you were saved you were instantly sanctified. There are actually three stages to salvation. When you are "born again" you are JUSTIFIED. That means we are brought into line with God. Thru the blood of Christ we are seen be God as if we had not sinned. The second stage is sanctification. This when God purifies us, and it is the work of a lifetime. This is the stage all Christians are in right now. The third stage is glorification. This happens at the 2nd coming of Christ, when we are made completely new and immortal. Hope this helps your understanding.

YES!! I finally got to the end of this video haha, I would LOVE to go through 365 days of Bible! I really want to read the word all the way through this year and you've got so much insight. Lots of things you've said, I've really felt this year. I also felt like the Lord's been saying to me to do what I can with what I have. I don't need any more, I need to act. I don't have friends I can see and fellowship with right now in person. He's called me away from a lot of that I think. The last 2 years he's taken away all my friends who've been distractions, basically. He's moved me into seclusion, but there's a reason for it. I've tried making in person relationships, but doors keep shutting and I think it's just not my time to have that right now. So your channel has filled such a void and is such a blessing. You don't even know! Or maybe you do :) God bless you!

Ugly cried watching this. Girl you know how this blessed me. I'm so grateful the Lord lead me to you. I know that feeling of "why am I not close to Jesus like she is?". Feeling that way about other people, but with you I'm not even enveious, it's more like, "Wow! I have a friend that knows Jesus!" and I think that's so special. Praying with all my heart he blesses you BIGGER than you could ever imagine.

I just wanted you to know. The other woman from afar seems blessed in ways you don't understand. But perhaps that is his way of leading her to him, and away from whatever is not meant for her to be doing to get them. And gives her the chance to repent and be better because he is giving her better. Also, this is also a way that Satan tries to get to you. By making you judge others and be ticked at what others get. Questioning what and why God is doing something. Just be glad you see that God is in action. He loves and helps others in his own way. Just let that show before your eyes, and don't let that become Satans trickery. Trying to make you bitter, judgy, or covetlike. Cause you can slip into being mean spirited instead of Godly without even realizing you were. You never know when that person you chastise may be praying for you. So don't wonder. That's just Satan trying to get you to wander off. Just be glad you see God's good works and keep on going on with Jesus in your heart. You keep doing what is Jesus and God praising. You're doing well by them. You have a blessed in so many ways day.
