Girl, we have such similar stories! I’m married too but have been separated for 2 years and taking care of my two boys by myself. I am also a firm believer of the power of the Holy Ghost that lives within us!

I say I have to agree with that friend of yours. I feel like I've got the Holy Spirit, but I don't have it like you do. You have a purpose and I'm so excited to learn about Him through you this year! Happy New year Friend! God bless you!! The charriots are on the way!!

I’m doing the prep week this week so I’ll be in sync with the podcast. I’m really looking forward to doing this study. I’m using the Gospel Transformation Study Bible because its study notes also show how to see Jesus in all of scripture.

You said something that I feel needs clarification. You said when you were saved you were instantly sanctified. There are actually three stages to salvation. When you are "born again" you are JUSTIFIED. That means we are brought into line with God. Thru the blood of Christ we are seen be God as if we had not sinned. The second stage is sanctification. This when God purifies us, and it is the work of a lifetime. This is the stage all Christians are in right now. The third stage is glorification. This happens at the 2nd coming of Christ, when we are made completely new and immortal. Hope this helps your understanding.

Also I forgot to say, I recall saying there is an instant sanctification I believe that occurs at salvation concerning our sins and things God takes or removes from us then, but then there is a progressive sanctification as well. I don’t remember saying that when I was saved I was sanctified ( like period) I don’t even believe that lol I just meant for me personally there were things/habits/attitudes ect that when I got saved were gone. Call it what you will, but to me that was instant sanctification concerning those things, other than our walk of faith and obedience till we die or the rapture takes place. I’m not a scholar and I don’t claim to understand it all but to me that’s what I meant when I said that.
