We were blessed with your last calendar (we used it to schedule channel stuff) - GORGEOUS photos!!! It was easy to just sit and stare at each photo noticing details and composition. LOVE IT!!! I can’t believe that the photos you shared on this video are the rejects!! The beautiful mushroom photos remind me of photos Ken took for me years ago for a book I was writing. One was a lovely mushroom which he photographed because it looked like a butt. Yeah, a butt. *sigh* Artists . . .

I watched your drone tour of the property. Is it possible they came from the weeping willow area? Weeping willows are my favorite trees. There was one “weeping” over the bank of a creek where I swam when growing up. It looked like a lovely sad lady with long hair trailing over the bank. I’ve carried that romantic image around with me ever after.

At this point, the origins remain unknown - "the shrimp are from unknown origins" makes it sound more alien 😄
@lisakubacak55777 күн бұрын
@ I’m not a shrimp-eating fan. All shrimp are aliens to me. I would like to know why the first human to eat a shrimp looked at it and thought, “Boy howdy (this first shrimp-eating human apparently being from West Texas)! That there water bug sure does look like good eat’n!” Ken being from Texas and his being a big fan of shrimp, that was not regionally insulting on my part.

OMGGGG I JUST NOW SAW THIS!!! We were sick for several weeks (Ken polluted us just after Halloween) and I’m just now catching up on videos. I have been going newest to oldest so just bumped into this! You should have told Ken to look at the darned channel when he asked about the critters last time. You’re both grounded for making me wait - just sayin. Vernal fairy shrimp - how much do I love that name (along with the fact that they swim upside down)?! You have no idea how nuts it drove me wondering what those lil tidbits were. I would have brought them home and named them (probably something from Lord of the Rings, them being fairy shrimp and all). Thank you so much for the big reveal and the shoutout!! Now gimme a fairy shrimp!!

I’m in zone five b would this over winter in my zone?
@TooManyHobbiesNotEnoughTime24 күн бұрын
It might during the warmest part of the summer. It definitely would indoors. You could plant a few seeds indoors and have it year-round. You could prune the vine back if it got unruly and eat it too. It does climb with tendrils like peas or cucumbers. Maybe you could train it into a bush indoors. When we build our greenhouse, I will definitely try it indoors...but that is at least a year away for us. Good Luck!!

Having worked in the medical field, I can state unequivocally that this document is pure GOLD. People need to understand that, due to insurance parameters, physicians are generally allotted 15 minutes per patient and have nowhere near the time per appointment to be comprehensive in diagnosing and treating even simple ailments. A document such as this could quarter the time needed to complete a medical history and update (by far the most time consuming part of the diagnosis process). I also love that this document can be customized for other conditions and gives a patient an easily accessible and easily understandable window into their own symptom and treatment progression. I hope that hundreds of people see this and take advantage of the template you have provided. Well done, Sir (many health care teams thank you as well)!!

I guess the prices for standing desks have gone down in seven months. I got a nice and sturdy glass top desk off Amazon for less than the prices you showed on the Home Depot website.
@TooManyHobbiesNotEnoughTime2 ай бұрын
Congrats on finding a good deal. I got 2 for the price mentioned and the "load" they can lift is more than double my weight. So if I decide I don't want a standing desk any longer, I can use it in my workshop.

These thin PP tarps will not hold in wind. If you want it to be for more than few days, you need a much stronger material. But you will eventually find out :-) To prevent if from being torn in next strong wind, you could also make it from 3 smaller tarps tied individually. Good luck.

😂😂😂. You’re talking about how hot you are and the guy in the background is in a hoody and dressed for sub zero weather. In the future make sure any new building that you put up are white with a white roof…. They stay cooler and reflect the sun…you know kinda like the icebergs do. Plus it’s always cooler sitting in the shade of a tree. Which you seem to have enough of than sitting under a gray tarp.

I've used paracord, polyester cord used for wire rigging, etc. One thing to note is, what you are measuring up against if it is very stretchable. This could add inches to your measurement, if what you are cutting is polyester, for instance. See, polyester doesn't stretch much. It also gets too tight on your foot if your feet swell much during the day. Nylon stretches. Just something to think about.

The edge you refer to as scallops is called a Granton edge first made by the Granton knife company in Sheffield, England and now used by many makers that refer to it as a Granton blade. You seriously need to learn how to sharpen a knife and you were not cutting paper but tearing it. You might cut yourself badly if you ever get ahold of someone’s knife who actually knows how to sharpen one.

Just have a second knife you keep clean if you want a knife to eat with. I have my beater for working with and I have a SAK for food things. Handy slicey blade, used it a few days ago to split a burrito with my partner when we were out for example. Easy to maintain and I don't have to feel precious about my main knife.

Junk mail is full of chemicals. I shred brown paper grocery bags to mulch the top of my plants. "As for using brown paper in a vegetable garden as mulch or compost, it is generally safe to do so as long as the paper is uncoated and free from any contaminants. Brown paper bags that are used for packaging food items like groceries are typically safe for mulching or composting in a vegetable garden because they are made from natural fibers and do not contain harmful chemicals."
@TooManyHobbiesNotEnoughTime7 ай бұрын
For junk mail, we only shred the white paper and envelopes - none of the colored or plasticized stuff. Most would look like what you would "print" at home or work. There are several things in our everyday life that doesn't have to go into the garbage and can be composted - either for use or not. Tissues, Wendy's take away paper bags, paper towels, cardboard tubes, paper sticked cotton swabs. Thank you for stopping by and watching the video.
