just don't spam the mortal draw so the 2nd draw will appear faster - what you should try is, hit mortal draw only once, just click once on your attack button, it will go slowly with this your single draw will be equal to 2 mortal draw (spam attack)

Careful, if you don't hit it in the back it will start the charge, and then freeze. Then you have to do it the normal way.

anyone stuck on the ape. use the the very first combat art you get. spam it. it deals him a lot of damage if your attack is level 4 to 6. it really helps you get through first phase without using a single emblem however you can use firecracker once. but it has a 15 seconds cooldown as using it instantly again wont make him stunned or scared. then udring phase 2 use all spirit emblems with mortal draw. also during phase 2 use the bite down or tooth. make sure to do it right after phase 1 deathblow. that way you can use both ressurections instead of 1 if you have 3 ressurections.

Referring to the charm loadout, why not just add a one notch charm like Steady Body or Nailmaster? If you add a one notch charm before overcharming, you can still fit it, and I'd assume both charms give some type of net positive help, especially Nailmaster, since it has no effect if you don't use a nail art and only a positive effect if you do. I assume something about the charm notch ammount of those four charms changed, but I was unaware of the change if there was one.

Cool video! I was thinking of trying to figure this out so I looked it up to see if anyone had done it yet. I imagined that the quest XP would be what got you, makes sense. Cool to see the route the game forces you to take through the story missions, since I played them in a completely different order than that. I imagine any XP that could be shaved off further from different kills wouldn't bring it down much more, interesting that it takes you to such a level on basically just free experience

When I first fought him my dark souls instincts took over and even tho I knew how to properly counter the lightning I kept trying to doge and get I frames and somehow I got it perfectly every single time

I can't parry the fucking dice on time god it's frustrating

This was the last level I needed for platinum trophy, got mad and unninstalled the game, meanwhile 5 years later I reinstalled and now have to do all main story and all relics again
