Rediculous, if you checked how much oil was required in the instructions it would have taken seconds to do not your rediculous way. Cutting grass that doesn't need cutting and is greatly dirt is not a demonstration. Waste of time
I just brought a masport 470 from Bunnings followed your instructions and the ; easy start: lol still won’t start any advice

That tubing you cut was aluminium wasn’t it? I use a reverse rake 80 tooth renegade blade from Trade Tools on my regular sliding drop saw. Precision cuts and gets through much thicker fence posts in the same time it took you to cut that.

Hey Dan good video mate, I'm in NSW and I just bought myself this mower over the weekend from Bunnings. Paid $549 for it. Such a great mower was very easy to assemble (basically nothing to assemble except the two pieces of the catcher). It purrs like a dream, I mow my lawn on level 3 and it brings it up looking like a bowling green. it's also fairly lightweight and easy to push and turn around too you can literally FEEL how lightweight it is. This is the first masport mower i've ever owned. I had a Morrison Rocket which I got 12 wonderful years out of but unfortunately had to retire it due to the chassis rusting out... I think that was partly my fault from mowing in the wet all the time. I got a maintenance question for you too, regarding where the air filter is inside that metal cage do you have to undo the bolts in order to get to where the air filter is ? i'm just asking for future reference in case I find myself needing to clean it out or replace it. Thanks.

Unless they have recently changed the material, the bags rarely last more than 5 or 6 uses. And replacements ONLY $30 each - you must be joking - they are effectively "consumables"! Buy it, use it 5 times, and then you only have a 1 in 1 Blower 😐

Always use good charcoal as well so I'm assuming thats a brand he likes. Never buy cheap charcoal will not last fire will keep going out

The plastic catcher looks dodgy as hell, and I've read lots of bad reviews about the wheels seizing. $529 at Bunnings
@toolmandan10566 ай бұрын
I have had it for 3 years now and its still going strong. Unfortunately the price has raised. The catcher looks weak but hasn’t broke yet.

Hi Tool Man Dan, Thanks for the excellent review. I also bought my Ozito Metal Cut-off Saw from Bunnings, and was frustrated with the cutting, trying with scrap a few times. Then I reverted to a Black and Decker cordless grinder, which is not as easy to cut straight, and it cut like butter. I concluded that I'd try a new blade, then saw your review, so good confirmation for me. I'll comment to Ozito about supplying a blade that is crappy. It does not look good if people try it and conclude the whole machine is no good, just because of a crappy blade. Keep up the good work.😀

Thanks for the review, I was unsure about buying one of these due to reading some negative reviews about it but this helped a lot. I didn't want to spend a lot of money if I didn't have to due to only needing it for a few jobs at home so I will get one today. Its Saturday today so its a Bunnings snag or two as well 👌

I bought one of these in November 2022. It was $549, $100 more than this one you reviewed a year earlier. Also I cannot find any made in the USA on it. It always starts first pull though so my only regret is not buying it a year earlier!

Looks like a good mower thinking of getting one does it have a smart chute to cut tall grass?

Not sure what a smart chute is. But yes it does cut through fairly long grass
