I fell asleep second at the sleepover. Don’t remember what they did to the first friend, but I woke up to some pretty putting makeup and marker on my face. They must have been making sure I kept my facial features 😌

Sleepover

I've never gone outside when the sky was red. But I did go out at night.....& the night was lit like daytime. No I am not kidding, not drunk or high or crazy. I was at my childhood house, helping Mom pack it up to sell it. It was almost finished & I was there alone. I preferred it that way, as it was quiet & peaceful & I was rather sad at the house being gone. But I digress. I sat down on the couch around midnight & had a snack. I must have dozed off because the next time I woke, it was around 2AM. I cussed to myself & got ready to leave for home. Keep in mind we had all the windows covered in heavy blinds & curtains, to keep out burglars' eyes. I open the front door & step out into.........daytime. I instantly assume the clock in the house was just wrong, as no one had lived there for a while. I figured I'd slept the whole night. So I go back inside, look at all the clocks....all say 2AM. I grab my cell phone....2AM. I go back outside......stunned. I am standing on my lawn with it bright as 3PM in the afternoon! The light is peachy, golden in hue, yet the sky is covered in clouds. I am so puzzled. I lift up my magazine I have with me........its bright enough to READ THE MAGAZINE I'M HOLDING! I look around for another person (I'm a bit in shock) to surely confirm what I am seeing, that its not some dream lol. But not even one car comes down our quite-busy thoroughfare! I don't feel any panic, for some reason......just awe & confusion. The night is silent. I look up one more time, there is an intense white-ish light behind some of the clouds, almost like the sun but 'whiter'. For some reason, I have the strong compulsion to get in my car & just drive home. Not fright, just.......that feeling. So I do. The next day, I try to listen for any reports of some weather-phenomenon or other people discussing it. No one does. I still have no explanation for it. Did I get to see some God created miracle?? I've not seen it since. But I am glad I had the experience; this story reminded me of it...even though nothing bad (that I know of!) happened. :)
