17:20 pisses me off so much when people say “Elden ring blah blah blah” Valstrax came before Elden ring and rahdan was quite clearly a massive rip off of valstrax. Rise is a very well made and good starter monster hunter for modern audiences. The qol improvements and weapon attack improvements will hurt people if they go backwards though to older generations. However, who ever’s idea it was to include the spirit birds needs to be fired.

jealous of your luck for the crown hunting the luck i had for crowns was genuinely horrid in rise lmfaoooo, few of the big ones were 70 for royal ludroth, 65 for barioth, and 40 for apex rathian. NOT very fun.

Been slowly chipping away at this on base game only but man crown hunting without sunbreak is rough 😅

I have 1 small crown and 2 large crowns to go I have 300 hours exactly at this point and I think people underestimate the event quests the get you 70% of the crowns (some have higher chance and not just guaranteed) so when I see people complain about crowns I am always confused because I have never had that much struggle compared to them, I think either they don’t know the events or don’t know the only way to get crowns is from investigations and/or events and some arena quests.

I'm just starting Rise on PS5 and I have Sunbreak too. Just a couple of questions for making sure I efficiently get the 1000 Large Monster kills and the 1000 Large Master Rank Monster Kills trophies. Question 1) How soon can I start the Sunbreak content? I take it that I have to finish the base game story first? Question 2) Should I use the Defender armor and weapons for smashing through the base game? I appreciate that the difficulty will increase once I start going after Sunbreak monsters. Again, in the interest of efficiency :D

I’m still on my all achievements run and I’ve completed the game. Almost 160 hours actually, it’s tough work! Can’t imagine how long crown hunting took! I’ve been playing for almost a year now I’m just a lazy hunter 😅

I got both of the platinum trophies... without knowing you could fast travel to the Pawswap... It's been months now but I'm still frustrated by how much time I spent uselessly walking my way to all of the Pawswaps lol
