Definitely worth it - whether you are a collector or a casual player. Given the pre-generated decks, you can’t go wrong picking up a few extras. Every deck is unique so, if you don’t get one from a particular set, there are cards you may never see.

So I found a way to buy all but CotA sets. Even if those sealed decks might run out sooner or later. Only AoA box was in English here, but at least TCO works fine with all decks thankfully.

The best part about Keyforge is how easy it is to get in! Just grab two decks and some tokens. Any of the sets will be fine but, you can choose a set based on whether your favorite house is featured in it. My favorite set is Worlds Collide (because “Civilized Dinosaurs in Space” just sounds great). There will be new Two Player Starter Sets on sale from Ghost Galaxy but, you can also print your own tokens online or use a substitute at home.

Decks can always be played, old or new. The newer decks have introduced mechanics that are not found in earlier sets but, the available houses and cards differ from set to set too. So you may have a favorite combo or house that does not exist in a later set - meaning you should just find decks from the set that does include your favorites. In general, I’d say every set is viable in competition but some do better than others. I plan to have more regular content when the new set Winds of Exchange arrives so, I’ll do a ranking of sets IMO.

I definitely sleeve my decks - esp since you can't play competitive without sleeves! But, when I am recording, I need to remove them to avoid glare on the cards from all my lights. I'm OC as well so I cringe when I see a glare during my edits lol

Nice! Hype for Keun and team to keep updating us on the final game. No - I did not attend film school but, I am a huge "screen- fan" (anime, movies, TV in that order). I know what kind of stuff impresses me or makes me react so I try to mimic that. It's kind of like music in that way... if you really have an unhealthy obsession, you can put anything into practice. I've actually never said this online but I wanted my KZbin to feel like the 90s/00s Black sitcoms I grew up on. Cousin Skeeter, Sister Sister, Smart Guy. CLASSICS!!! I hope next season (late summer/fall 2022 probably) that I can change the style a little bit and see how people respond to it. I am currently swamped with my actual job & some Kickstarter work I've picked up. Most of these videos won't make it to my page but, I'll be out here grinding til my next upload.

I do love Artificer - the bots remind me of Heimerdinger from LOL or Mei Hastume from MHA. Both of them are SUPER complex (to play & to film, at the time I had mapped out ideas for EVERY fighter) so I don't get them on the table as often. These 8 are the ones me and my friends pull the most even though I hate Shadow Thief and wish they didn't exist!!!

Well if you come out to Western Wa you can come play with us and get a full dose of those two ;)

Isn’t it dope? I think that’s my favorite mechanic so far. I love that you can understand a characters build and but still need to strategize every round. Feels a lot like League/Smite/DotA in that sense

This is my favorite sort of comment, since I’m “self-taught” if you could call it that 😆 🙏🏾 I wanted the VFX to be my signature and it felt like something unique to bring to the tabletop space. A lot of my favorite content creators (CalebCity, RDCworld, AfroSenju) have their niche but focus on having fun with it. Really excited to put in some time with this next video now.
