@RR10kTV2 күн бұрын
Everything it’s the fundamental of playing the game , not necessarily what it looks like but the mechanics , watch some pros and see the similarities then watch a low level player there are usually big differences 👍

Durant aquest any d'entrenaments vas canviar la configuració dels dards... canyes, plomes o el pes dels dards?, o sempre has estat constant, sense provar altres configuracions?
@RR10kTV2 ай бұрын
I have changed my set up and played with different sets early on and played with kite flights and standard stem but as the throw changed I needed a better grouping so back to standard allowed me to hit more 180s and have recently changed my darts to lighter similar style from 23g to now 21g and playing well. Just need more time at the board , will see how challenge tour goes 👍

@RR10kTV2 ай бұрын
Stick with one setup for a month and measure your results , then do the different set up the following month, you have to give it time as your throw will change if you practice at all, also builds confidence in a throw and set up

Im getting into the practice too. have found it helps with your doubles if you hit 2 before you move to the next one. got this training tip from simon whitlock. so this means if you just hit one straight away you need to get it again to prove its no fluke. i must admit Simon whitlocks version was to get 2 in the same double before he moves on. Keep up the dedication, am enjoying your journey. trying to do the same but got a year or so to catch up!

I did intense training and blew my elbow out. Bad advice. Reason is once you push to failure you've got an injury, which means time off or playing with a persistent injury. Which is counter productive to making gains. Your better off splitting your training up into micro intense focused exercises to avoid injury 👍
@RR10kTV3 ай бұрын
Everyone body is different, if you watching all my videos you would know I tell pretty clearly. Muscle ache is good to a reasonable point but not pain or joint pain as it is counter productive. Always listen to your body if you feel like you could injure yourself most people can tell. If you never push yourself past a certain point though you will not improve to a certain level.
@m4d_mark_xtr3me793 ай бұрын
@RR10kTV that is true, I have watched your videos which is why I thought this bit of advice was strange... Well considering you managed to pull off 21 days consecutive training 🤷 I used to throw for over an hour without breaks. Now I have an ulnar nerve problem which unfortunately is affecting the darts. It's a catch 22, you want to practice to get better but every time you get to point you have to stop to avoid injuries to the area. It's abit like watching porn and not being able to finish 🤣 So for me training has to be in short intense bursts with a break in between. E.g. if I did a first to 9 legs I would need a break after probably leg 4 or 5
@RR10kTV3 ай бұрын
@@m4d_mark_xtr3me79 you are right about not pushing too much something I found out myself and have had 4 neck strains in earlier days which put me out but as far arm shoulders everywhere else always been fine. It’s a very hard balance to get and I was close to injury on day 20 of that and could feel the neck , but also made it stronger in ways. I think stretching and knowing where the line is including relaxing when throwing is the biggest thing I have learned. Best way for growth for me is playing in tournaments back to back as the adrenaline and playing on tired muscles makes a big difference for me
