Thank you for your support! Unfortunately I never picked up a Prosciutto. I’m not sure if he had a reissue or not, but I can only say be careful with older figures like him. They can be pretty hit-or-miss in terms of QC! Sorry I don’t know much about the figure though :(

Thanks! As far as I know, the only difference between the standard release and WF is the accessories; WF comes with the extra head (wavy hair) and text plate, while the standard release doesn’t.

The head at 3:34 is sadly the Wonderfest Exclusive accessory, so it doesn’t come with the retail Giorno Black Ver. :(

Which version of Dio did you get? Personally I enjoy all of the Dio molds so I don’t think it was a bad choice! ;)

Ahh, I might not be the best person to ask since I’ve had limited experience with Figma.. 😅 Usually I stick to S.H.Figuarts. As an outsider though, I’ve noticed Figma has a nasty habit of not completing lines for their figures. I don’t know if the JJK line is an exception, but I’d be worried about having a complete collection with them. Medicos, on the other hand, has already revealed a new Hot Pants, Wekapipo, and a silhouette for Ringo! So, they’ll def be continuing the SBR line for a while ;) Plus, how can you look at Gyro without Johnny?! Haha :D Personally, I’d go with Johnny.

(Edit: Geez I didn’t realize how long this comment looked until I hit post…sorry in advance!! 😅) That means so much to me- thank you!! :D And yes! We’re getting a Tooru and WoU supposedly! Maybe we’ll see silhouettes soon haha As for quality; as much as I love Medicos, I think Figma has more consistent QC (quality control) all around; for joints at least. SAS joints can be really finicky sometimes and sorta hit or miss. If Figma is anything like S.H.Figuarts, then you’re going to have a fairly solid figure with easily interchangeable accessories. If you’ve noticed in my reviews, almost all of my SAS have one issue or another with either their heads or hands being difficult to pop on or off. In fact one of my first figures (Part 3 DIO) had his neck joint snap right off when trying to change his head haha..I had to pull out my “fancy model kit skills” to fix him LOL Where Medicos makes up for it imo is their excellent paint quality. I’ve been collecting Dragon Ball SHF for a long time now, but their promo pics have been getting quite cat-fishy, but with JoJo you’re pretty much getting exactly what you see in their promo shots. That, and the level of sculpting care put into each accessory and figure makes up for the 50/50 chance you might have a stiff elbow or shoulder joint haha! So, if you want a figure that can probably get dropped on the ground a few times and still be in one piece, I’d go with Figma (if they’re anything like SHF). As an actual display on your shelf, I’d go with Johnny.. I can’t stress enough how good the paint on SAS look, especially when you have a group together! I think S.A.S. is usually a little more $$$ than Figma, but with the sculpting and paint they have, I think it’s worth it. How was your experience with Gyro though? If he feels solid and looks good enough for you to try and dip another SAS, I’d go for it! Like you said, you already have an SHF Gojo, so depending on your attachment to the character, you may as well get a new Johnny :D Sorry for this essay of a reply 😂 I just don’t want to oversell you on one or the other and you be dissatisfied with an impulse buy. For me, figures like SHF are more for “play value” and changing their poses often. JoJo figures are really fun to pose but I love to just look at them on display because their paint and sculpting looks so so *good* LOL! Like their name suggests, they really are just poseable “action” statues.

I think it depends on your budget and how attached you are to the character. From what I’ve heard, D4C is incredibly expensive on the aftermarket right now and I’m not sure if he’s going to be reissued. Johnny, however, looks to be cheaper, and the white/blue variant is on preorder again, so you can buy him at normal price! :)

Thank you! :D Super excited that you’re starting your own collection! I’m pretty sure the sites I use ship to UK, but you’ll need to check. I usually use AmiAmi, but PlazaJapan and Hobby Genki are also great choices. You could try to use Mandarake and might find some good deals on second hand figures. I’d steer clear from eBay or Amazon (especially Amazon LOL) as there are lots of fakes/scams that you have to sift through to find legit sellers. There’s also small communities that you can buy second hand from like the SAS JoJo subreddit, and I think they have a Discord too, so it might be worth checking out. I hope this helps a little! Feel free to ask anything else and I’ll try to answer your questions. The websites I first listed usually have great customer service too, they’re not shady, so I can’t recommend them enough.

Considering buying a few from Hobby Link Japan, as the prices there are really good even for UK shipping! Do you know if they're a good store, the reviews seem decent but there's one or two bad reviews that do concern me a little as it is still an expensive hobby LOL.

Yeah Hobby Link Japan is another good one, I forgot to list it lol! I’d use that one if it’s good shipping for UK. I’m pretty sure I’ve used it before too but can’t remember who for haha I’ve heard they have good customer service too, so I think they’ll be a reliable website to start off your Medicos collection! :D

Your best bet for getting older exclusives such as this one would probably be looking around stores like Mandarake. Though, I do believe this Giorno had a general release, but he doesn't come with the WF exclusive accessories...

I believe the third head (hair flowing) is exclusive to the Wonderfest release, as well as the speech plate (and I guess it’s respective stand), but he comes with everything else! :)

However, if you do want another unique sculpt, the Blue version I showed at the end comes with an extra “Haruna” head, so it’s Giorno before his hair turned blonde and is brown. (This one isn’t WF exclusive)

Try look at other sites, I got mine off of Mercari!
