My funny valentine and d4c came in recently, the funny valentine figure was also quite oily so I think it may just be a production error. Great review by the way :)

It’s strange isn’t it I have the same issue too but my Funny Valentine came in last week they should’ve fixed this error by now

I used dish soap and water with a qtip to clean mine which worked great. He even had a spot on his shoulder from the oil but it came off when I washed him thankfully

D4c is definitely one of my favorite stand designs, if not my favorite. Medicos did great of the d4c figure, the iridescence is beautiful. Cant wait for mine to come in

I really wanna get this D4C but I think I'll wait until FV is available in more interesting colors. I got the white Killer Queen and Kira a year ago and before getting any "new" figures, I just ordered the second editions of them. Can't wait for those

@@alexanderstafford3707 Oh yeah they look great. Only nitpicks with those ones but I don't think you should expect your experience to be the same as mine. I've got 11 of them now and most of them have one problem or another. From a distance you can't tell but I've got stuck joints, paint streaks where they shouldn't be, slightly misplaced features and scratches. People who've been collecting longer than I have say it's a reissue problem and that the best quality figures come from the old boxes with the checker patterns. My experience would support that claim. I have two of those ones and they're perfect. Since you're going for Crazy Diamond too, it seems most people, including myself, experience stuck joints with that one. I'd still go for it though

Very nice figures and review! Though I have to say, I don't understand the point in the extra back at 6:25. I've read Part 7, and I don't remember that ever being a featured detail. Is it meant to be from when D4C ages? But if so, I feel an aged head would be included as well... If you have an answer, I'd love to hear it. Overall though, thanks for the review! Helped me to make my decision in that I think I will indeed get these figures.

I believe the extra back is just when Araki made D4C more detailed (he’s notorious for changing designs in between chapters), that’s also why D4C has an extra set of forward tilting bunny ears, the two heads are actually slightly different! As for the aged head, for the wonderfest exclusives both Funny Valentine and D4C came with aged heads, though they’re quite expensive haha

Ahh, ok, that would make much more sense. I still feel it's a bit weird they would include an entirely different backplate just because of art style change, but I guess it's nice to have. And I didn't even question the ears, though I did find it strange, so thanks for clearing that up as well! If they went so far as to include separate pieces for D4C though, it would've been great if they included pieces that made Valentine more fat because of his old art style haha

There is also another version of D4C that comes with the broken head and hand but it's a limited edition and it's expensive.

I cannot decide between getting Funny Valentine or gyro 1.5 re release, i love both characters but cant decide, who should i get? I already have D4C so funny would go well with him, but Gyro is just above funny for my favourite character.

@@TheFlaminMinyung so, I unboxed my funny Valentine figure and the chest and up disconnected from like the stomach and lower. There’s a peg to plug it back in to connect the body so I don’t think it’s broken, D4C doesn’t do that so I’m guessing someone at the factory just didn’t glue the peg in correctly ?
