my first marathon since 2019. I think it would be my 14th Marathon in my life. I remember running along Lake Shore at 30k mark was so tough. you hit a wall and the road is so open. It is the most boring part of the race. and then turning into Queens street east that slow up and down hill climb really kills me. Then the last 5k really feels like forever. The joy when you go up bay street is so good.

Before September 28th, to transfer your registration, visit the event page and click the ‘Transfer’ button on the left-hand menu. There is a $10 administrative fee (plus HST and processing fees) charged to the new participant. Once the transfer has been accepted and completed by the new participant, the original participant will be refunded their original entry fee, less processing fees. No transfer of funds is required to be made outside of Race Roster. The original participant will be refunded automatically once the new participant has completed their registration, paying the registration fee plus the $10 administrative fee.

Just a quick warning, anyone who transfers the ticket is likely a scammer, the transfer only can be done through the official website by buying a new one by yourself, and the previous purchase will be refunded to the previous runner after the transfer. My 17yo son got scammed by one of these bad guys.

I watched the entire event to see my boy cross the line and you did nothing but do interviews and when he crossed you were on your interviews and I didn’t see him thanks for nothing.. the last 15 minutes should before the 6 hours should be only on the finish line….so disappointed

Hi Nancy, yes, the course is mostly flat and the last few in-person editions have had excellent running conditions as well. Hope to see you there this year!

Absolutely innane and stupid to run a half marathon on no training especially anyone over 50, first of all when the pain hits you, you would have to stop and the very risk of a heart attack is very real especially if you have not be cleared by an MD, many trained marathoners have died, too much of a risk to try and I have been running for 62 years I think I know what I'm talking about.

I met Gleave in the summer of 2011 when my PSA climbed a bit. I sadly ended up with what turns out to be the biggest lying , arrogant , son of a bitch I have ever met. Taken in by what I thought was genuine concern and being the Director of VPC I took is lies as the truth. After a second biopsy he told me if I did not have my prostate removed I would be dead in five years and it would be a painful death. That he was the one to perform the surgery since he was better than every one else, that he was top of his game and my Urologist was not as good as him since he trained him. Guaranteed sparing of nerves since he was so skilled and that he would take care of all issues. Promised straight to my face he would be the one performing the surgery. Lied !!!!!! Day of surgery he brings in a POS medical student and introduces him as Brian Mayson and then Gleave left with a bottle of whiskey I gave him.. On the way in to OR Mayson informs me he was doing the surgery and had no intention of sparing nerves. In the OR I made up my mind to call of the surgery and made and attempt to leave. Only to be grabbed from behind , needle shoved in my arm and forced back down on the table.. Lights out.. Post surgery Mayson shows up in my room to tell me how difficult the surgery it was. Gleave showed up later and told me it all went wlll and nerves were sparred and that if I need anything contact him.. Well the operation was a mess and Gleave had no idea what really went on. The surgical report is gruesome but Gleave report to my GP was a form letter that all went well.... I have found out since Gleave does not perform is surgeries that he has medical students performing them for him Even after he told me that the reason to use him that he was so experienced and it was a long learning curve to perform this surgery successfully . All the time he was feeding me this crap he had no intention of doing the surgery.. When I went back to him with all the complications he got very angry.. Told me it had nothing to do with him and it was all in my head.. Made another appointment but passed of to some one who had no real idea what was going on ... Gleave lies.
