This is one of the few people in the chosen that I just can’t buy or believe. I don’t believe Judas ever was following Jesus for the right reason. That’s why they said he had his hand in the money till. I think they got this character wrong. I just can’t believe he was that enthusiastic.

I could watch the chosen in so many apps but can't find season 4, it went well. I tried watching season 4 on the chosen app and it uses so much data to download

I feel like they revealed this betrayal to early... But eh-

I want to point out how similar Judas's proposal here is to the proposal Satan made to Jesus in the desert. Judas is essentially offering Jesus the crown of Israel. Not the spiritual crown but the physical. He wants Jesus to be what we now understand is the Antichrist. Loved by all, powerful, dressed in fine robes, reverered as a celebrity. As an apostle, Jesus's power is Judas's power as well. Judas is ambitious. More than he wants to truly serve Jesus, he wants glory. It's just another example of the way that Satan often attacks in subtle ways. The plan Judas is proposing here in this scene is the same plan Satan proposed to Jesus during his 40 day fast. Jesus's complete willingness to do his father's TRUE will is a contrast to Judas and his refusal to detach himself from the persuit of his own selfish gains. It's also an example of how Jesus is 100% different from all the other religious figures who consider themselves to be like him. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He will NEVER fail God nor his people. No matter how strong the temptation.

in the show jesus actively sought out his disciples with exception of judas. judas had shown himself to be as worthy as the others but he could read judas' tainted heart.

Jesus knew a 1&1/2 that he was the one who would betray him. He was stealing from the coin purse. And his heart was on money all the time he even wanted Jesus to rebuke a woman who used the expensive oil on Jesus he said to Jesus the oil could be sold to give the money to poor but he was going to skim some of the money for him self.

Sadly we all have been Judas more times that we can admit, we think we know better and some us are full of rage and bitterness bc we got absorbed by this world, I admit that I am that way, I dont think Im angry at God but I have anger and vengeance in my heart for people that hurt and keep hurting my family and me and I dont know how to let Jesus take away that poison I have in me and Im becoming the snake these other people that hurt us are and I see that those people poisoned my sister as well and she doesnt realize how toxic she is now and seems to be rejecting God bc of these people and I try to not become angry bc of everything that happens to me

Thank you for sharing this. I have seen it before but I can’t ever miss anything from the Chosen. It is beautiful to watch yet it saddened me to know what Jesus must face in a weeks time. How alone he must feel in the knowledge of what is to come. It hurts me heart. I do not know how I will get through season 5 , let alone 6/7. May God give Jonathan the strength to get through the making of them. I think it is going to take so much out of him as he continues the journey to the end. Mel Gibson did right by doing his film in the original language for The Passion of the Christ. But i say to you be very wary of films like The Chosen. The Chosen is an EVIL rendition of Christ and His followers, Blasphemous and incorrect in pretty much EVERY scene. If you do NOT really know the Bible OR Jesus I recommend you read the Bible instead of watching such garbage. Lest you be stray and never KNOW the path to truth. We need more word for word movies of KJV or OLDER if ANY at all. Newer versions of the Bible are already miswording MANY scriptures and misleading people in to complacency. It is too easy to put our beliefs or views BEFORE the word of God. Consider this before watching shows like The Chosen which warps the truth and misleads it's viewers! Be wary of this. It WILL lead you to your destruction if you choose to believe the lies that show teaches. Not life. Period! Search for full translation of the King James Version OR OLDER if you want truth. ALL the newer versions are altered to a point of contradiction and untruth. Some even leaving OUT passages for the benefit of satan. Not for your benefit of true understanding which they (the changers of the words) claim.

Judas knows Jesus is the Messiah, yet he thinks he knows better than the Anointed One? He thinks he can give the Son of God advice? He is totally lost.
