That’s exactly what God has called us to do preach his word the good news to all creation, not just us that are Christian we already now Jesus the rest of the people that don’t know the Lord need to hear about Him. WE ALL need Jesus and I believe God placed him in that talk show for an opportunity to talk to them about the gospel. Like you said it’s really sad when we see or hear people acting and talking in a hateful way towards other people that are not believers. Jesus has called us to be imitators of Him, we need to love the way He does and see people the way He does and forgive the way He does. May God bless him and continue to use him for His glory.

There was a TV version starring Lorretta Swift. It has been one of my "must watch" Christmas movies each year. I saw only snippets of this one but my major complaint was that the church mothers in this one seemed to be portrayed as snobbish, whereas the TV version, they were more concerned for the kids. I hope this isn't so, as we have too many people putting down the wonderful, helpful, kind "church ladies" all around us.

Let's admit it. We're curious about how the jolly, human-emphasized version of Jesus in the Chosen would whoop up on peeps.

The whole concept of the Brosen is so oriiginal. There are a number of reactors who bring out different aspects of the show and its theology, analysing it, spotting the Biblical references and speculating on where the scenes are leading. There are the Insiders, the Round tables, but this view - a bit like the kids who sit on the back row adds a whole new dimension. It turns a tricycle into a tractor 😂 🚴 🚜

Unrelated to the video - I seriously hope though that the chosen steps up in terms of showing the true nature of the romans . So far the show has shied away from showing the brutality of the romans and the atrocities they committed. We know Jesus was badly beaten and tortured during his imprisonment and journey to the cross . This can’t be skipped over and it’s important we see in all it’s majestic power the suffering Christ went through . 🙏🙏🙏

I’ve already seen the movie twice. Dallas had a preview screening at his old church in Elgin, IL a week before ChosenCon and I was able to go to it. Then I saw it for the second time at the Con. I really enjoyed the movie and I thought it was very good. Everyone should see it regardless of whether or not they have seen “The Chosen”. I think it’s destined to become a Christmas classic.

This movie was absolutely fantastic! Saw it at the world premiere that Dallas brought back home to his church in Illinois where The Shepherd and The Chosen were born. The movie was so hilarious, and as per usual, punches you with the emotion even mid laugh sometimes when you least expect it. It was a blessing to see it early and we will definitely see it again, hopefully with many friends, when it comes officially out in theaters. It is wholesome and one to add to the yearly Christmas watch list!

I will be out of the country when this airs in November, and I don't know if it will be shown here (currently the theatres shown when it trying to book tickets show New York state as closest to me - and I am in Canada). As far as I have seen in Dallas' clips from filming, and since then, to me the film has the air of a regular Hallmark Christmas movie - quick laughs and sight gags, . I actually like Hallmark Christmas movies as very light and uplifting for the season, where much "thinking" is not required, BUT EXPECT that, with Dallas as Director, there will be more "umph" (oomf?) in the actual film, than appears in the trailers. Am I right?
