Shmuel is trapped trying to keep God in a box (per Nicodemus’s counsel to him) and trusts in his own understanding. I think they’re drawing some parallels with Judus in portraying hubris. Aloha to your shirt and video. Always look forward to your perspective. You’re the future of the church.

I hope everyone appreciates the time dilation the Biblical account undergoes and how that affects the way they have to divvy up the story among the seasons. Think about it: Four seasons cover three years (give or take with flashbacks), one season a week, one season approximately a DAY - then at last the one season dedicated to the happy ending. That took some strong writing for the Bible authors and even more for creating backstory for all the people who didn't make it or barely made it (/casting a glance at Claudia/) into the Bible account.

I don't mind watching for 20 or 30 minutes to help earn this kid the money he needs to go to college because he has a future in broadcasting and he needs the background to help him get there. I want the people I follow to make money at it so they continue to make the videos I like, and I get to continue following them. I actually get a little snippy with them when they make short videos because I know they're not making it worth it for themselves. Makes me worried that they will quit making videos.
