For a while i thought it was pretty funny how hard Dani is on fe7 cause i had only played Eliwood normal and thought it was fine but like eight months ago i started VERY slowly trudging my way through hector hard for about a month and i think it killed my interest in fire emblem for a long time. every chapter really found a new way to be shockingly terrible. I haven’t even finished it my save file has been sitting at cog of destiny for over half a year because my trained Florina gets two-three rounded by valkyries while she’s holding a javelin and refuses to dodge a sleep staff once

So here is the case about why I rather dislike conversations about why x is bad, especially if it isn't bad in a way that activly is misinformation or harmful to gameplay. Is it's a game, and I could make a stronger case of Seth being the worst unit becouse he is objectively the least amount of fun you can have becouse you do the least amount of engagement with the game when doing so. Summoner has multiple ways of engaging in the game and activly allows you the power to make slow bit fun moves in a way no other class can achieve. It's why I really dislike soul games when talking about difficulty when the person a. Uses glitches and b uses extreme amounts of knowledge to skip around the game and just blast through it. You can get a max weapon rather easy in dks1, and just bladt through the whole game. Except than you have by using your knowledge made it so you don't play the game. At what point is it game mastery is the equivalent I cheated to this point. Becouse the difference is one just used Seth for every thing and the other used a program which actually requires more thinking and knowledge. Summoner is fun and that is the most important metric of any game unit in fire emblem and I'm tired of acting like this isn't the case.

I love this chapter, not only is xane one of my all time favorite units throughout the entire franchise, it’s just fun and I really like the town area

It's tragic how terrible at writing IS is. So many of these games could've had good plots if anyone competent was on the writing team. FE7 is fundamentally unsalvageable tho.
