idk the only trainee that gave me trouble was Donnie and maybe owen cause of his late recruitment. I understand not wanting to use a second seal on Jean but honestly he's busted on any class you give him.

Fe7 is personally one of my favorites (Along with Fe4 and Fe9), however I do agree or understand a lot of issues you have with the game. There’s an Fe7 rebalance mod that fixed a ton of problems that has made my experience of replaying it so much better. And I appreciated how you were still able to compliment the story even though you’re not a huge fan of the game. I personally really like the game because of the story, while not being perfect, has always been charming to me even with some loopholes in it. To me, the characters are the most likable cast in the series. It’s such a great cast of characters that it made me use some of the less viable ones (I always use Rebecca). Also I really like the maps because a lot of them reward playing quickly, (Whereabouts Unknown, The Dread Isle, Living Legend, Crazed Beast, Battle Before Dawn, etc) which remind me a lot like fe4 but I’d obviously get not liking the maps if you don’t want to rush them. And personally, Eliwood is my favorite lord in the series but agree to disagree on that one! I did really appreciate and understand where your coming from with this review, and hopefully that helps why people do like this game too!

What I liked about Revelations was the possibility of matching up units that could never support eachother in the other routes. It makes for a fun game if you like minmaxing stuff and I had fun building out the most OP roster I could think of. I get that it's not a conventional Fire Emblem experience. If you use DLC it's not even challenging, and the story is awful. Buuut sometimes, polished battle animations, big numbers and juicy crit sounds are all you need to get the dopamine going

For whatever it's worth I agree with you that the phrase "video essay" makes my skin crawl, I can't articulate why. I don't think you need to "earn" a second channel. KZbin gives everyone the option and if you feel like it's worth organizing your videos more cleanly then I'd say that's all that matters. It's your content, not anyone else's, so you get the final say.
