It’s been awhile since I’ve had to miss a live! My win this week was putting together my summer prep list (all the things I need to get done before June and July get verrrryy busy!) My small step for this week is to do my stretching routine at least once 😊

I'm a UK teacher and I use the semesters as refreshers. I look at January, April (Easter holidays), Summer goals (for the 6 weeks holiday) and then in September for the brand new school year! So a short 'season' in the middle but it's such a change in pace and responsibilities that it needs a refresh for it x So this year I refreshed March 22nd, will July 19th and again September 1st. Months don't really exist for me, I always have a Friday that is the end of a "quarter" and Monday is the start!! (Benefit of doing goals this way 😉) X

Hi! I'm so curious if you decide to implement planning on a different schedule than quarters, if your business will follow suit. I'm hard launching my business this year and have been struggling to decide how I want to structure it in terms of goals. I would prefer to do a Winter quarter that bridges Dec, Jan, Feb., but I also feel like that could make things complicated, and I want to avoid that.

This episode was very helpful. I listen to a ton of nonfiction/business audio books but I've had difficulty getting into fiction- probably because I'm usually driving and doing things, I prefer books that make me think. I listen to other things to fall asleep but never considered a fiction book. I'm going to try that tonight. Increasing my fiction reading has been a desire I wanted to work on this year. Thanks!

Season and Era mean two different things 😂 !!!! Living seasonally and setting goals by quarters is a game changer!!!!! Also, as somebody who also works for herself in this industry, I set aside money quarterly to be able to take a sick day or a sick week… You just have to plan within your business to be able to have that. It does take a bit of stress when you have these kind of things that aside to be able to pull from !!! I also set up end of the year bonuses for myself as well . sometimes these start small and then get larger with the growing of a business. But it is something to take into consideration.

My husband and I celebrated our 6th anniversary more than our 5th, we were just barely handling getting out of 2 under 2 for our 5th so we just had no bandwidth left. The 6th was all the more special because it fell on the same day of the week we actually got married for the first time since the wedding. So sometimes the 6th is better anyway 🙂

Orchids... I've had them for quite a few years and I've never had one grow new flowers on an old stem. I recommend cutting off the stem (clean the cutting device with alcohol beforehand). I water weekly either with ice cubes, or running water on it for 10 mins in the sink. The leaves should remain dark green and kind of fleshy. I may take many months but it will grow a new stem with new flowers. 😊
