My uncle owned an 86 not a pace car, but it had the Chevrolet 60° 2.8 L V6. As well as the slush Box of the three speed automatic.

My brother has one step lower one. The clutch is very hard to depress. It is not a commuter car. Your leg will be hurting a lot after 30 clutch pushes! Awesome good looking car. Stiff suspension however. Not for the faint of heart!

My grand mother gave me one as my first car. I was 15. It was maroon in color , but had the tame 283 in it and a power glide tranny.but i still love. Its in a tobacco barn in Rocky Bottom S.C. now. Rusting away my cousin owns it and he is 66 years old.

Chrysler guy(now)! Somehow I ended up with a herd of Chryslers and Im a Chevy/import/motorcycle performance guy...Go figure! I know why actually...because a loaded Chrysler diamond / limited edition is one fine set of wheels. I have a VERY special 1999 Chrysler! Dont laugh...T&C MINIVAN !!! It was built for the president of Sears fully loaded, leather , fancy, but then you get to the engine???? WTF Mind boggled. Why is there an all aluminum dohc V6 turbo engine in here !!! Yup thats right, 1 of 1 Chrysler with a Turbo V6 !!!! P.S It ate 4 stock A04 transmissions before the warranty expired. Chrysler dealer finally capitulated and split the cost on an $8500 Mopar factory built HD/race transmission, and its lasted ever since. Endless burnouts in a fricken Minivan, WTH!!! 😀😇🥰 I had heard of Sebring's V-6 set up like this , but no vans.

I just took 2-1,000 mile round trips in my Competition Orange 2004 Mach 1 last month! It’s “high mileage” now at 72k. 26 mpg on the first trip and 28 mpg the second trip. Fun car to drive! 5 speed which means my Mach has the forged steel crank. The automatic Mach 1’s are cast cranks.

For many years I owned one of the ten 1969 Yenko Camaro's painted in the Olympic Gold color. At time stamp 0:56, that is not a 1969 Yenko Camaro, or any 1969 Camaro either. For starters, the steering wheel is incorrect, the ignition lock is on the dash and not the steering column where it's located in a 1969 model. Lastly, the interior vents for fresh air are incorrect for a 1969 Camaro. The Camaro at that time stamp has to be a 1967 or a 1968. Something doesn't add up here, or a big error was made editing the video. At time stamp 0:59, that indeed shows the interior of a 1969 Camaro, using the correct steering and the ignition lock is in the steering column, not the dashboard.

Not only is this two-door Country Sedan equipped with factory air and tinted glass, it is also equipped with power windows! Pause the video at 1:30 and you'll see the buttons on the door. Power windows were rare on any '59 Ford, much less a two-door station wagon!

*Drop-dead GORGEOUS car!* Almost nobody kept those old cars. They rusted out within 3-4 years in the northern and eastern parts of the country. If they were driven to the beach (California and Florida) the body also rusted (salt hastened the process) Now cars are rust-proofed at the factory. In 1959 a person named Kurt Ziebart opened a chain of garages that specialized in after-market rust-proofing. (and stain-proofing the upholstery) The firm is still in business.

I put a 351C in a 65 Mustang in the early 80s. Rebuilt it to BOSS specs. What a blast to drive! I had 4 speed toploader tranny and 9" with 3:56 gears. Loved that engine! It would sing past 7g before you knew it! Thanks to my old friend who knew allot about cars. He said the 351C was the cheapest and easiest way to get real power.

You do realize if a mustang 2 had never been made, we would not have a mustang today.... Let that sink in!!! Then you can think about gas lines, oil, embargoes, horsepower, being a dirty word etc etc. There's a reason there are no big block mopars running around....

Just a FYI you got a lot of your info wrong here might want to do a bit more research and re-upload an updated video. Very nice example of a Shelby charger. You guys should look into getting you a turbo version or a GLHS.

Wish Stellantis should bring back Dodge Shadow and the Shelby CSX as EV, because Dodge has a history of compact cars like Omni, Neon and Dart, so this will be their own Neon of EV for modernizing our childhood model.
