I love this! I have an interview with the same company I believe. I’m coming from mainline as well and I’m a mom and wife. I too have missed flying but I believe regional will work best as a mom. I am so glad that you went back and I cannot wait to go back! I know this is older but congratulations- it’s so motivational!

Part one is absolutely not correct whatsoever, as a matter of fact it pays more than most of the jobs out there

For some airlines the starting pay is around $25-30/hr. That sounds pretty good, but when you are only guaranteed 75-80hrs a month, it doesn’t add up to much. Especially considering how many hours you spend away from home. It’s important for people to understand that reality. It’s not a 40hr/week job and there are a lot of factors that can impact the pay.

I really love your positivity and spirit! I resonated with what you said about regional vs mainline in another video. I had a CJO from mainline and was worried about the lack of seniority I would be able to attain since I'm older and don't plan on doing this for 20+ years. I really think regional is great but I was wondering how working as the only flight attendant is (when that happens) and if you have to fly several legs a day since the flights are shorter?

Congrats! ✈️ Of course it’s hard to leave my baby but it’s important to focus on the good. He looks up to me & sees me pursuing my dreams. Plus we have the ability to stay in touch a lot when I’m gone so that helps a lot! 🙂

It’s truly never too late to start. I started at 21, took some time off to be a stay-at-home mom and went back at almost 28! A lot of ladies start even later! If it’s on your heart & mind, go for it ✈️

I love your videos. I have just started exploring FA as a career choice. I have worked customer service for many years, love to travel, love to treat people with kindness but I am introverted.. is it possible to be a FA when you’re introverted? I am warm, smiley and friendly but I don’t see myself cracking jokes or being the life of the party! What do you think?

Absolutely! It may not seem like it because I have this KZbin channel, but I am actually an introvert myself! You don’t need to be the life of the party to be a FA, you just need to know how to be friendly and welcoming to people while at work. It takes all kinds of kinds of kinds to run a good operation and airlines know this. They want a healthy mix of personalities because it brings different strengths to the table when needed. You sound like a perfect fit! 🙂

I especially loved the point you made about "they already want to hite you that's why youvwere invited to the F2F, so just go inyhrtr and shine and prove thrm right". I do have 1 quwstion...you mentioned white button down shirt....so you would say NOT to wear a colored shirt?? Only white??

I’ve seen people wear all different things and I think as long as it is professional and appropriate, it’s totally fine! But when you walk in already dressed like a flight attendant, they can picture you representing their company easier - pair that with a beautiful smile and it goes a long way! 🙂

Yes! They just usually don’t allow them for the interview or training. But once you’re working you can wear them as long as it stays charged!

Girl you did such a GOOD JOB . I love everything you said.. 🎉 I was a FA twenty years ago 😂..... I loved it ... And then the company went bankrupt 😢 So clearly I am MUCH older now and my soul still feels the desire to become a FA again.... Idk if they have an age cap and I certainly hope not because I put in my application and received a message they cannot move ahead with my application because I don't have a PASSPORT!! THTS important... You must have a passport... WAITING ON MY PASSPORT!! I appreciate your knowledge, your value in us wanting to become FA and most importantly your very positive vibe! I love that!!!! Thank you .. Keep your fingers crossed for me because this little gypsy soul wants her wings back . No matter what the age!! 🩷 Thank you again.

That’s so exciting! Congrats! ✈️ You will usually have a few days to “move” to your new base. So 5ish days before your first scheduled reserve day or trip assignment 🙂

Just passed my face to face. Got my CJO. Im going to Disney. Well maybe six flags times are hard 😂. Very pumped up for training. Never got to see this particular video I wish I would have. But got lucky enough to get selected by a major airline. I think it was the fact that I looked great in my Macy's suit that was on sale at JC Penneys 😂. Question how long was it from the time that you got to cjo to training? My CJO was given in Nov of 23.

Congrats! I totally get that, times are hard! 😂 Training date really depends on company timeline since they already have training dates lined up and will offer you the next available slot. My wait both times was about 3 months. You’ll be thankful to have the time to prepare for your new lifestyle though!
